Nokia wins a patent suit against HTC in Germany - read the full textNokia is currently suing HTC in Germany on 22 cases, but one of them is finally coming to an end. The court has ruled that HTC used a battery-saving patent, owned by Nokia, in three of its smartphones. The patent is about some battery-saving procedures while a device is connected to a network....

I bought my first mobile phone in 1994. It was a Nokia 2110 (Mobira Cityman). It cost me USD 1200 plus a USD 200 connection tax.

Nokia has started to accomplish the deal it has with Apple(http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_...ws-5658.p­hp) of course it just won't be Samsung, it would also be HTC, Sony and so many other brands that represent a problem to Apple and Nokia and this is just because Apple and Nokia are incompetent companies and their only way of surviving on the market and not ending in bankruptcy is by eliminating the competence through patent lawsuits.

It was truly idiotic from Nokia to sue HTC for a couple of battery saving patents from phones that are already out of the market, if the people of Nokia could only use their "brains" they would have sue HTC when those phones were on the market, not when their are out of the market and obsolete.

Probably the reason why Nokia did this is because it was the only thing they had against HTC.

I wouldn't be surprised in a couple of years more seeing Nokia manufacturing the iPhone or the iPad.

nokia are quick to sue HTC & Samsung over patents (rightly so if true) so sue apple as well( you were suing them for some 200ish patent infringments) not clime in bed with them and be use like a cheap hore.. stand up and be a man for once
