Wow!
I've just read a few top rated comments and I'm really disappointed.
Sony fans are becoming like Apple fans. :(
It's Xbox vs Playstation all over again!
My friend has a S3 and when he saw XZ he wasn't impressed at all, and to calm all of you die hard Sony fans out there he also wasn't impressed with S3 mini.
And please for the sake of your sanity, don't be loyal to a brand for life, that's just wrong! :P

Yup, my xperia z just stopped working. It's been at room temperature and had 47 percent battery moments earlier. Now it's absolutely dead, it won't charge or switch on or anything.

> In reply to k @ 2013-03-23 05:47 from XMV$ - click to readThis article is in eror, the problem has affected just a few phones, and the affected ones can easily be brought back to life, no need for servie centers or warranty replacements, this is not nearly as severe as the SGS3 motherboard problems as this will not brick your phone.

If you need a good practical "and small size" mobile go for "Sonyericson Neo V", it works like a hell.
If you are "big screen fans" I think you should go for "Sony Xperia acro S", a nice water profe good look device.
Regards, Eid

This is my first sony phone and it is a good device except for a major problem. It cause the wifi in my house to crash. The Singapopore service provider, Singtel, has changed the modem twice, but problem persist. I sent the phone to Sony but they refuse to acknowledge the problem, instead, just change the phone. But still persist when I bring it back home. Sony please do something. Otherwise I may have to just throw it away.

Ya rite samsung cannot fool everyone saying that.... Its being proved that every quad core has 4 main cores n 4 companion cores that's what even samsung has.. N its flaunting that saying it has 8 cores.... This is their usual strategy.... Samsung start innovating something atleast rather than faking around or merely just coping directly from apple or htc.....

This flagship phone from Sony is beautifully and expensively designed.. I would be really mad if my phone suddenly dies. Anyway what are other good Sony models out there? I always wanted to go back to SE, now just called Sony. They're not as popular now as before and just find about this flop// sad

> In reply to nikhil10 @ 2013-03-22 06:13 from pXjx - click to readR you sure that you are using sony xperia z(c6603). Because this phone is just announced in ces 2013 jan 8.
It's announcement is also not 3 months. R you using prototype or using duplicate xperia z.
About me, I am using Xperia z since last 2 weeks and in my regular mode it's battery is excellent. It's baterry last whole day and next morning in single charge. If i on power management mode and use it as a phone not as psp(play casual games for less than 1 hours)and use internet as my second internet divice after my laptop(use internet for email, news, gps n other thing one use phone) and use is as a phone then it's baterry last for about 3 days.
about stand by time I can't dont because once I has left my mobile to check it's standby time, I got my call and pick my phone. It was in second day and my baterry level was still 91%(I has on power managment)
