I about to buy these phone, suddenly read these article, and it will be never change my mind,
Because, when I'm using Blackberry, Samsung, even Iphone, they will suddent death after a few month usage... don't worry of these thing, it was normally happen and gonna be solved.
And in my opinion, please dont make some rubbish opinion, like you are pro in mobile phone... be wise.
Anonymous, 21 Mar 2013Half of you make it sound like Samsung never had a sudden death problem. http://www.droid-l... morethis phone should have been a fault resistant too, because sony has been advertising its water and dust resistant, then how can sony prove these features wherein the unit itself has a fault on the fist place.
Lol, if it happens, it happens. Like the article said, it happened to some users, not all. Not sure if all Sony users are this stupid
Anonymous, 21 Mar 2013Someone from my office has already the Xperia Z and after a couple of days it has a nasty long... moreThe xperia z has a factory screen protector. Thats what has scratched. The actual screen has not.
Pro.DigiVid, 21 Mar 2013Here you go...
Point 1- S4 is not a true octa core. If it had been, I would have never made... morewhatever, i made to decide having a xperia pro and it never had a sudden death it only fainted on me occasionally.

Point 1- S4 is not a true octa core. If it had been, I would have never made... moreExynos5 is true octa core.
mp mode is possible any combination of cores can be on at any time without scheduling. so it can runs on all 8 cores at the same time.
check these out.
First, you haters need to READ.
Do you guys even know what "SOME" means? don't take it as a whole. Some owners of this phone who are not experiencing this sudden death are lucky. And i feel pity for those who are unfortunate to experience this problem.
as most people say, it's not ONLY Sony who is experiecing this kind of problem.. most of the smart phones too and samsung is not even an exception. No phone is perfect! As long as these manufacturers addresses and fixes this problem, then everything should be fine.

Not sure why all these trolls are on the Sony site! Go away please but if you are still hanging around. This is brilliant, Sony hears about a problem fixes it. S3 has an issue with cracks in the faux metal looking plastic and fails to acknowledge or own the problem. I know which company I would prefer to roll with and its name does not end with a G.
too bad such news wasnt posted when the Galaxy S II started to have this issue; cause i wouldnt have bought one. ive sent it to warranty and they changed the PCB and still the problem persists. and they do not want to change my devive. i am starting to dislike samsung
Overheating might be another potential problem in Xperia Z because the whole body is totally sealed for water proof . The heat is always trapped within the glass body.
Just a note, i misread this article but also found the solution:
I just thought the battery had died so i went to charge my phone, i thought my socket was faulty (past problems) so i tried other sockets but found the same problem..
I also had spare plugs and spare usb cables which i mixed and matched only to find nothing.
finally i connected to my pc and my pc did not connect to the phone at all
i held down the volume UP button AND the power button for a few seconds then my phone vibrated once and started up.
It connected to internal and external memory after the phone turned on and displayed a notification in the notification bar, its been over 2 hours and it seems all is fine, i will edit this if anything changed!
Guys check PC companion for Firmware update : 10.1.A.1.434, someone on the Sony Xperia z thread posted a print screen off his PC companion showing the update is rolling.link :
Isn't this a cheap blackmail designed to give way for S4 to rob the market share of experia z? I bought my experia z almost a month ago i haven't experienced anything of this story. I think sony should react rather than mere acknowledgement.
Xperia z back pannel browken due to overheated or any thing else due charging phone is heated too much when use continiously i saw it and found browken not fallen or any thing else i do i found that it was due to overheating dur whilr charging in sunlight
Pro.DigiVid, 21 Mar 2013Here you go... Point 1- S4 is not a true octa core. If it had been, I would have never made... moreDon't get me wrong I'm talking about the average Joe here people like me, we cover our phones in case of drops, and our kid seem to play with our phones more than adults so yeah I think people do genuinely cover there phones. AlsoI always research anything I buy thats tech and I've veen due an u grade for month's and I've been waiting for htc, Samsung, Nokia ect.. To see whats new and I do not wanna flash my phone as I just dont have the time as when I buy anything I want as little inconvenience as possible. Also the last straw for me and Sony was when I brought my new Sony amp and I plugged my arc into it and it said unrecognized devive yet my partner plugged her iPhone into it and boom it all came up on the tv and u could control it with the remote! Gutted or what lol
Mag82, 21 Mar 2013Come on geez, most of us put case's on our phones so we dont ever really see the body, I read ... morewow.. most of people put cases on their phones u say? Then I say these people are irrational. Putting a case on your phone is a Complete Nonsense. Not removing the protective layers etc. even bigger nonsense. What is the use of phone's design and feel, if you put some kind of cheap and crappy case over it?! Omg.
However, i can understand why sammy galaxy owners use it, the design and materials of this phone sucks big time, so they better hide it.
