LG has sped up things..I was expecting Nokia to be the next who would rise up to the challenge and produce a 8mp state of the art phone after SE and Samsung.

Theoretically, there'd be no reason for it to produce better pics than the C905 as well. The C905 has a bigger (and better) sensor, greater focal lengh and a xenon flash (plus a LED one).

Will there ever been an end to increasing MP size? 8MP is a lot for a tiny camera! If anyone knows anything about retinal physiology and optics more MP can make the resolution WORSE if the lens is tiny! I hope the lens on this thing is HUGE like on normal cameras, or its kinda pointless. My advice is BUY A REAL CAMERA, THEY ARE MUCH CHEAPER!!

Whatever Samsung does Lg follows. Samsung has INNOV8 with 8mp w/o xenon and Omnia with 5. So lets make an omnia with 8mp and xenon. Simple.
Another example, as soon as there were rumors of Primera sporting 5.1 surround sound, LG hooked up with dolby lab to have dolby in all their future models. Good efforts but I dont think all this will be a huge difference unless they put OS in their phone. Cheers!

enough with the non-os fanboy c*rap, it don't cost 15 billion dollors to put some kind of a os which supports 3rd party apps, lg had a great try with the viety and now this should have been what the viety was't and same with se get a freakin os already, what with wifi and gps what you gonna do? run java maps? the voice naviagtion on nokia, htc, samsung is like a repria in software of the real gps modules excpt they don preform as well but still, nokia got so many fans cause of the os, look how they developed it, samsung are cheap but also smart they knew that the next step forward is a os and they got both winmo and symbian and i bet they're gonna get anroid too....no os c*rap than.......later homies keep chillin!!!!!!
