Microsoft will end its support for Windows Phone "8" because it will be focusing on Windows Phone "8.x" or "9" or "10" just like Android ends it support for "Ginger bread" and like Apple ends it support for "older IOS".

Every company focus on making new products, if it would still be focusing on its years old products then there would be no real production which will result in less demand. Less demand means no sale which will lead to company collapse and other stuff. Therefore, to remain healthy both in production and sales a wise "Company owner" always focus on making/inventing "New things". Like here, Microsoft will focus on its "New Windows Versions".

This is called business BOY. Try to post the full information or do not post.

Not able to understand the reason for this news. These apps have been available for quite some time. May be the support has been extended for devices that aren't updated to 7.5 or 7.8
