Why don't they go back to making honest to goodness phones that deliver on people's needs? That's really what users want to buy. These stunts are sick and much waste. All these media and court stunts just cost so much, people are getting less innovation, as their money goes to paying publicists, lawyers and stupid CEOs.

So Mr Heins, are you trying to say that IOS & BB are mobile computing platforms.

Is something maybe wrong with you.

Just b'coz BB is no longer considered secure.

Go get a life.

> In reply to Damien Lord @ 2013-03-22 16:37 from tUaI - click to readYes, it true that Microsoft is going to stop the support on windows 8 by the end of 2014. But all the current Windows 8 are upgradable to Windows 8.X/9.

All these CEO’s and OEM’s have in reality have started behaving like Kids. Like so many fanboys here who keep saying stupid things about manufactures they don’t like. As if there are no personal preferences involved. Well, it’s no longer just fanboys war, its OEM’s battle as well and they’re just trying to prove why they are best. The recent example will be HTC’s self-indulgent and childish behavior over Samsung GS4. Instead of poking in other companies marketing approach, they should be busy getting their devices in market on time. Another example is when Nokia’s CEO threw iPhone on floor. Why to do that? Lumia 920 isn’t the greatest phone after all. It’s good but not the most excellent one definitely. Microsoft is as it is going to stop the support on windows 8 by the end of 2014. So there’s nothing Finland’s should swank about.

> In reply to killer droid @ 2013-03-22 16:06 from qasT - click to readAre you serious... or you said that because you don't even own PC/Laptop?

Smartphones will never replace PCs/Laptops in both business and gaming fields, don't tell me you can do C++/C#/Dolphin/visual software coding or Photoshop/3DMax/Movie design or designing websites building and editing huge databases on a smartphone!!

And good luck in finding Crysis-quality games and proper gamepads that actually work on mobile devices.

Obviously a media stunt. I'm watching and I'm entertained. But still not buying BB.

There's a reason (actually many reasons) people choose other OSes over BB. Everything this CEO is saying - first bashing everyone else - is coming from some publicity consultant's handbook. I wonder what comes next? Can't wait for the next episode.

Android is a OS , PC is not.
PC is just a general term for a computer (hardware)!
Are you comparing Android vs Windows or Linux or what exactly?

Thorsten Heins, Do you think BB10 is 'mobile computing future'? Are you joking? First give the OS 10 update to Playbook & then make some statements. Waiting for OS 10 to Playbook since long time. Only statements from BBRY are 'Coming Soon'. Can you explain when this Coming Soon will happen? You have already lost your credibility by not launching OS 10 to Playbook. These so called OS 10 handsets are beyond the reach of average users. First launch some lower end OS 10 handsets & then only make such statements. Give the priority to launch OS 10 to Playbook before making such statements in future.

Am not usely against black berry because I love bb10, but I think that black berry ceo is just a hater. WP is crap yes I agree with that but android is the most advanced mobile os out there. If you have any high-end android it's like having a desktop window pc in your hand. Nothing in the mobile area is has close has android to window desktop os. Everything desktop window can do Android can do on the high-end flagship phone. Since I have my S3 I only use my laptop for gaming. Everything else I use my S3 connected to my Bluetooth keyboard/mouse, 32'' Samsung tv via hdmi and use it like a computer. I can't flash player, torrent, office, codecs, multitasking, multi window(multitasking) is not the same thing and so on!!!! Android is so advanced it's could replace window desktop os for many thing because it's free. Window desktop os cost 99 $ min. Google did a great thing with android. That's why Microsoft are always on Google case. They known the potential of android. They feal fear via android and there precious monopoly in the desktop environment.

"Sue the competition" is not the tendency anymore now it is going like this (or like Nokia's Elop emabarrasing in TV) Right now I have a Netbook running x86 Android with internet, documents, music, video, imaging software, games, email, if those are not computer tasks then I've been fooled more than two years????

You made 2 irrelevant and 1 completely wrong points.

Seeing what is going on in this world makes me not want to live here anymore.
