Photos of the two devices and some more of their specifications appeared online today. They will both run the Symbian OS with S60 UI and will come with the Feature Pack 2 preinstalled. N79 is similar to N82 in both design and features, N85 is rather similar to N81. I think Nokia is no longer able to continue the competition with Samsung and SonyEricsson or even LG

Nokia new phones really dead before release. SE, Samsung and LG step ahead from Nokia. Nokia doing the same thing which Moto did.

Symbian OS is just a brand name. SE, Samsung and LG using their unique OS which has better performances. Nokia repeating the phones with same design and features. SE Xperia X1, C905, W902 really better than these phones. SE, Samsung and LG capture the market very soon……………….

when will nokia come out with a touch phone ? it's the only thing missing and you would have the best phones ever!!!! (for me)

the new nokia's are made in china or korea...
and trust me you have to use it to believe me, the quality is not that good anymore like the MADE IN FINLAND phones. the new BLACK N82 is made in CHINA.

Omg just plain ugly. I will not buy this even if this is the most feature-packed device. Seriously though, nokia needs a good design team.

i like the N85 it's like a cheaper version of the N96 but it's a shame that there is nothing new in these 2 phones the same camera only the fm transmitter i have the N82 i'll think a lot before changing it i wish nokia had something with more than 5 megapixel camera i guess i'll have to wait i really like the covers idea in nokia N79

hehee, do YOU know how badly C902 was beaten up by N82???
if you have got the money, buy and try..
i get the c902 omg this dont have there dont have.
camera colouring not as good.

A lot of people critizising SE of making phones with "copy\paste" attitude. From what I'm seeing here...its the same thing.

When you look at their model numbers, you should KNOW that they are not flag ship yet. nokia just introduce them b4 the killer one come out. Its true that nokia has pressure from great ph such as innov8, so they have to be better than that. So, wait and see. They may cancel N96 i believe.

Nokia can do better than this. N85 & N79 are probably just parts and bits cut out of N82 & N96. if they wanna do a facelift for their upcoming models, they should at least change their style and design and also good functions to compromise with it.

Now is it just me, or nokia is really over confident in their new product range? i find it quite st0pid to see nokia coming out phone specs that is quite similar with the old ones... except... new design.

so they are not into 8mpx race, arent they?

Yes.....finally the N85! I have waited so long for a slimmer and better version of my N81. Does it have the exact gaming keys like the N81? Because in the picture it doesn't look like it?
