Why does mini (i.e. 4.3" and smaller screen) phones have to have mid to low end hardware? There is so much competition in the large screen high end hardware market, but pretty much no one (except Apple) is in the small screen high end hardware market. There is a great opportunity for manufacturers here. The screen is the most expensive individual component of a phone, so a small screen phone is much cheaper to make and the profit margins are even better than flagship phones.
I think it might have a mediatek quad core processor rather than dual core because like the s3 mini it was weaker than the s2 so it will be the same this year I guess.

Well If hTc doesn't release a mid range phone equal/better than this, its gonna be my phone for sure.

Samsung's official statement: "It's as ugly as the SIV, but smaller."
Nokia Lumia 720 and 820 much better. And Windows Phone is faster, stabler, better-looking, different (not the now-boring Android/iPhone) and uses way less memory, so it's considerably faster particularly on cheaper/low-end smartphones.
INDROID, 22 Mar 2013now no more S2 production...True, who knows, maybe they ll recall stocks left for recycling components for S4m.
