The G1 can get kind of pretty if you snap some colorful case on it.

What? Ugly?
how can you say like this? hmmm, it may be your taste. So you can say whatever you want. But in fact Tmobile g1 and its accessories are in great demand just due to Android and HTC. gives more detail about its accessories. Fast 3g service, 3.1 mp camera, strong mobile application like Android, what else do you expect in first term?

So if white plastic = Fisher Price, then I guess iPod headphones, Mac keyboards and iPod Nanos are "Fisher Price" to you?

I've said this elsewhere, but the differences between the G1 and the iPhone are miniscule. One is rounder with a metal backing with less buttons at the bottom. Aside from that goofy bulge at the bottom of the G1, the differences are barely noticeable. You'll probably have a tacky case on your iPhone anyway, negating the style factor.

What universe do you live in that says Fisher-Price baby toys with giant seams, and big chunks of mis-matched plastic jutting out are good looking? I thought those images were a joke when I first saw them. Looks like they broke a piece off of some Fisher-Price kitchenette microwave and glued it onto the bottom of the phone. Egads it's hideous!

The google part is attracting but the whole T-Mobile and HTC part make it bad.. Design sucks. Color: outdated ... Nothing compare to Iphone whatsoever... Google make the wrong decision this time what a waste.. At least Google should go for Sharp or even Korean Samsung will make the whole design look much better.. sigh! :(

Ok first of all, stop complaining about color, its coming out in more than just white, and second of all, have you realized everything the Android software is capable of doing? Plus the fact that with google making the OS, I'm sure updates will be a regular thing. Check out the specs at:

You know, the phone will be released in three colors. Black, brown and white. I plan on getting the black.

Man what a disappointment. I've been waiting for this phone for months. This proves that T-Mobile sucks, I'm just gonna switch over to AT&T at least they have 3G and a hell lot better phone selection. Who was the design engineer for this phone needs to be SHOT!! This thing is ugly as hell...... I should stick to NOKIA e71 or BB Bold.. What an ugly piece of s**t

Correction. People were anticipating the "Dream" to be the phone of all phone and the would be Iphone Killer. Now it turns out the G1 is nothing more than a wanna be sidekick running android.

I agree, this phone would definately grab alot more attention if it was black...or silver. Silver would be nice. :)

I cannot believe all the tools who care about how this phone looks. There ARE specs available for the phone and they have been available for a while now, OFFICIALLY. This phone is extremely powerful and it's OS is more than enough reason to buy the phone even if it was made out of manure. I am anticipating it very much and hope that as a TMO employee i'll be eligible to pre-order it on the 17th of September instead of waiting for Oct 13th. This phone will also help TMO out a lot in their battle for much coveted activations and will finally have a unique phone in it's roster besides the teeny bopper SideKick.

iPhone is a weak/limited product with a limited OS.
Also Microsoft will develop a Zune Phone in future, IDK when.
Also Dell too. ( Win Mobile PDA Phone From Dell, man by HTC).
& SE is a loser, it's too late for Win Mobile phone.

Windows Mobile VS OSX Mobile:
HTC, Microsoft, Dell, Samsung, Sony Ericsson VS Apple.
Nokia is dead in this game.

Whatever Apple do, I only cares about God-End Win Mobile PPC Phones.
