Exactly. There's no point Facebook making this. We already have FB apps on our smartphones. I am very happy with my Nokia Lumia with a FB app. No point even trying this HTC FB phone, just a waste of time.

Of course, buy a fb phone so you can root it and remove its fb customizations.

FB is good Idea, but the phone has to be differentiated to get traction in the market - and I like Apple, but HTC One is the best Phone available now - maybe iPhone 6 will be better and iOS7 but now is HTC time... I Think Apple should have few model to choose from and have Phone every 6 month.

I think HTC made two goals in one mobile a facebook mobile that is fine but the other thing is ..... mid rang HTC Nexus mobile, this mobile using pure Android (no sense UI), so if we can root this device and remove facebook stuff if we wish ....we will get Nexus HTC again............. smart move

When minimalist gets mentioned, Stock Android then Sony comes to mind first. Samsung last due to bloatware features..

Great! time to look at another UI design, hope its good in landscape/port.

I for once like the iOS UI, especially the tablet form factor. Having no widgets or anything greater then 1x1 size and the 4 /5 row icons is brilliant in a way when it comes to auto rotating.

They could give auto rotate home screen for iPhones too like on the iPads, but i think they reject it as it would look terrible as the dock is push to the left or right in landscape mode.

When i use android, this always got to me especially when the screen is of 16:9. Touch wiz ignored this problem by locking the auto rotate mode.. ADW launcher's landscape mode looks ugly. I wish android developer can make a launcher that keeps the aspect of the widget but shuffle them around to look nice. Auto rotate and nice landscape mode is a must for android going on as their device is getting bigger and bigger and their pride for customisation.
