Apple slide-to-unlock patent invalidated by the German court - read the full textIt seems Apple is going to lose its slide-to-unlock gesture patent, at least in the EU, since a German court has declared it invalid. Everything started last year when Apple won an injunction against Motorola Mobility and attempted to ban the sales of certain devices. Encouraged by its victory...

Their stocks plummet consistently, they have to cut their parts orders due to less demand, iphone becoming less popular.

God Apple, one of the most unethical company ever. I don't even know why people still purchase their products. At one point they maybe the best but now their product are getting more and more monotoneous. Microsoft is a much more ethical company. Apple has just been dissapointing their consumers more and more in my opinion.

If you're arguing that Apple's retention rate has plummeted since then, please provide the data to back it up.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-04-07 19:07 from sXj8 - click to read"Oh, and Apple don't provide a network connection. That'll be down to the likes of AT&T, TMobile and the actual Network OPERATORS, so I don't see how Apple benefits from more expensive data charges."

Apple makes a percentage of every data bundle for iPhones that is sold, which is why there is a specific iPhone APN at every network, (just like for old BlackBerry modles), whereas all other SmartPhones and the new 10 series BB's all use a standard data APN with no kickbacks to manufacturers...

Working in a phone shop (not allowed to tell you which one) I see all manner of people coming in and asking about phones, which to buy, which is better.... it's all personal opinions at the end of the day. If you like Apple.... buy an iphone.... if you like Samsung.... buy an S4.... I've had iPhones now since they were released, and i've just traded my iPhone 5 in for an Xperia Z.... because it does the things that I need it to do... remember, its a phone... thats it...

i really love itunes why? cus you can click and drag music and movies directly onto your iphone, so you dont need to save everything onto itunes and synchronise with your itunes using the tick boxes. This means you arent taking up more storage space on your hard-drive than you need to. iTunes really is a lot more user friendly now than what it used to be! only haters will disagree with me?
