Dat big screen! Can't jump to a smaller once tried let's say Note2. And of course the bigger a device is, the more you can put inside. When a 3.5'' be quad-core, a 6'' will be dodeca-core. Senseless petition, sorry

For me, perfect size would be:

4.3 to 4.5 inch screen with on screen buttons.
At least 720 HD display.
5 inches tall, not wider than 2.5 inches.
Quad core processor like the GS4.
2gb of Ram like GS3/4
High quality camera like samsung.

Okay, maybe Samsung should just make this phone. Like a GS4 mini. But stop using inferior processors and cameras!!!

Motorola was very close with the Razr M. They just needed HD display. They could release Razr M 2 with HD display, improved camera 2gb of Ram and quad core processor and i would buy.

I have a Xiaomi MI-2 and love it so far (could be a slightly slimmer, but otherwise perfect) Supporting the petition anyway :)

Signed, there are guys like me that go to the gym or do outdoor stuff that can use a small device that doesn't need a big pocket or bag.

Xperia V satisfied this requirement. My only gripe is the 1GB ram but in other factors its good enough, the water and dust resistance just additional plus. The newer chipset and the Adreno 320 in Xperia SP is also another good choice, bigger screen though and same 1GB RAM.

totally agree, many people are in no way fans of huge smartphones that prove hassel to the pockets and a plunge to be used single handed.
great idea..

Somebody should send a link to Wozniak. He likes to bash Apple on iPhone size, but also likes to ignore the fact that Samsung does the same with giant phones.

A hp with dimensions of about 125 x 63 x 8 mm with a 4.3 inch screen would be great. Not forgetting a good ppi pixel density n quad core processor...

Am sure it's possible to fit the HTC ones 4.7" full HD screen into a phone like Xperia V, a great chipset n battery and you will have a winner. throw in the water resistance n I will sell a kidney for one.

I totally agree...

I think a screen SIZE similar to the size of the Galaxy I9000 screen, only with a 720p resolution and all the higher end features...

The difference being that the bezel would be slim with a rising edge to protect the screen (ie, not flat phone at the front, a slight lip to protect it while laying flat)

The bigger screen is a waste or a burden on your pocket...

3.7" to 4.3" are enough for me. I really hope smartphone manufacturers create a superb phone that is not ultra-mega-gigantic large for most of its consumers.

> In reply to lanly @ 2013-04-17 09:05 from 7tLp - click to readIts basic ergonomics.

iPhone is designed with landscape and portrait usage in mind.

When you use in portrait, normally using 1 hand, thus the bezel is thin, so your thumb have maximum touch comfort vs reach.

Same with landscape, (fine with 2 hands) but if you decide to hold your phone in one hand, you have to cover the front of the phone for grip. If you look carefully, you see the top and bottom bezel match that of a standard human finger width.

A phone without bezel will be uncomfortable, prone to dropping, and unusable with one hand, and your fingers will cover part of the screen. Not practical, but look nice thou ;D
