as soon as it is released in the U.S. in november, retailers in Canada will advertise thru eBay...
wait for the North American version so that it can support all North American bands/frequencies...

It's amazing they didn't include Brazil in Latin America list, the biggest country and very probably the biggest market.

I am severly disappointed Australia is not on the list. Is there any hope that this will come to Aussie along with a plan from a carrier?

I have asked both SE Australia & Sony Central, Sydney and they both say the X1 is due here in Jan 09, but may arrive earlier.
Cant wait to get this baby in my hands.

iPhone is OVER-RATED!
SE has proven themselves while iPhone is just full of flaws (Music phone without Stereo Bluetooth?! Totally DUM8!!)

Cool phone Xperia X1, but I'll stick to my P1i for a while. Just hope SE releases P5i or some similar smartphone without slideout keyboard, it just is not practical.

My contract has been up for grabs since April '08 and I've been waiting for this phone to be released in the UK before I sign to a new contract. I first heard about it in December '07!

Finally SE, HTC, Samsung and LG are successfully entering to the WM phone market. So what’s happening with very long way WM manufactures like imate, O2, HP?

I think the cool thing about releasing now is that there will be heaps of competition from Omnia, HTC Diamond & Pro, Iphone, and the coming HTC Touch HD that prices will have to be lower if SE is gonna compete and have an edge against/over them.
