The problem here is speed typing. The world speed typing record was achieved on a hardware QWERTY keypad and NOT on an onscreen one. Thus the solution for HTC is clear. An HD 3.8 inch screen with a hardware QWERTY keypad ie the Touch HD Pro. That way the full width of an internet page could be viewed without scrolling. This is why as far as viewing internet pages, the Nokia E90 is far and away the best mobile.

Well first I have to say about time HTC ups the specs on there phones, now to BERND on the US cell market while it is a huge market lets be honest the network is so far behind most developed nations you can walk into your local At&t, Sprint, Verizon, Or T-Mobile shop and find phones that folks in other countries get for free now or are not even in service 80% of cellular phone models do not make it to the states because of mostly network compatibility issues. So do to that most companies do not even try to make there phone for the US market. Then on top of that the cost of a phone is ridiculous in the states I mean really you still have providers still selling Razrs for $120 with a contract. You can't even find a Razr in most european countries now,

What is the point of all the nice HTC when they are not able to have full connection for USA??
Have you looked on the specs on Touch pro and Touch pro HD???
only HSPA/WCDMA: Europe/Asia: 900/2100 MHz

Look on Xperia X1. It has:

* GSM 850
* GSM 900
* GSM 1800
* GSM 1900
* UMTS 850
* UMTS 900
* UMTS 1700
* UMTS 1900
* UMTS 2100

So HTC, i hope you read that, you are out of the race, you have a beautiful plastic phone but you are NOT able to provide the connections what we need in USA. Even when it is on the US Home Page.

That's it.

Speak for yourself... A high resolution screen makes a huge difference. I've owned the Nokia N800 internet tablet with the same resolution the experience is much better than the iCrap. A high res screen means no scrolling left/right and constantly zooming in and out. You have a true internet experience like you do on your PC.

The higher the res the better videos look. iCrap can't compete.

Not to mention the iPodPhone has iCrap speakers...

This will be the best device ever even though it runs WinMo. I prefer symbian but anything is better than the iPodPhone closed OS.

This will blow off N96 N79 & N95 8gb way off the hook.It looks better than Nseries which have become outdated.

im sorry but who the heck cares about an HD screen on a cell phone. Nothing innovative has come out for years now except the iphone. No one is impressed anymore with things like HD screens, more storage, better cameras, or what you can sync to.

htc should think more before coming out with three new product. they should know that their so called diamond has became a big lose to the hands of buyers. they must think about the durability of all batterys life,also too much expensive of all their products.if htc can look into all these, i feel their products will be the best.

I think it's stupid. What's the point of making 2-3 new models one after another where one is better than the previous one? That's stupid. Look at the world of processors. They make one frequency - they keep it for a while on the market till they sell a lot, make money, then they move on to the next one. HTC is making new phones faster than changing their socks.
....and i guess.....not just HTC.
IMHO - it's stupid.
