The reason for plastic back cover is for battery accessibility that you cannot possibly do with a glass or aluminum. To use glass or aluminum, the device should have non replaceable battery.

It has the deepest blacks because the LEDS are turned off when in black background and therefore not using power thereby saving battery. In SGS3 and NOTE 2 , you can set the display to MOVIE MODE to get the most accurate colors. In SGS4 you can set the screen to Adobe RGB to attain the most accurate colors. It doesn't matter if they are using Pentile matrix because human eye cannot detect the pixels over 300 ppi much more with the SGS4 with 441 ppi.
So wake up and be educated on the screen technology.

> In reply to sara @ 2013-04-26 09:48 from SeeV - click to readDude, you have to look at how the screen looks, not what somebody says or doesn't say. Just look at the screen and compare with other phones and you'll see that it looks the best, if it doesn't then choose a different phone, besides you can set the colors the way you want for that Amoled screen in settings. But what looks better looks better. The colors in todays movies or pictures everywhere, they are all oversaturated than natural photos, that's because people like it more that way. So why not enjoy the better looking colors on the phone? Well Amoled's probably one of they key reasons I'll have to stick with Samsung...

Tell me, does your phone have Super Amoled HD screen, great camera for both photo capturing and video recording, killer CPU and GPU, futuristic features such as hover function and splitscreen multitasking and aslo wacom digitizer with it's 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity, and, o yeah, battery capacity beaten only by the Razr Maxx lineup? Yeah, I don't think so, too.

> In reply to samsung rules @ 2013-04-26 06:59 from 07B2 - click to readYes, no company in the world is immumme to loosing the number 1 throne.

Apple missed the opportunity for large-screen phone and the users have turned to Android phones. So Apple phone is seeing decline.

The only company that can hold number market share forever is Microsoft due to 90% of users using Windows as desktop and laptop

> In reply to lev04 @ 2013-04-26 07:51 from p3GV - click to readIt actually cost samsung more to make the s4 than it cost apple to make the iphone. so post when u know the facts. plus when u drop your phone no matter what its made of your going to do damage to your phone. Its just a lot easier to replase the plastic on a galaxy s4 than it will be on a iphone r a htc one
