For all people who just doesnt know what is this about and talking s*h*i*t about Nokia mics (and current stolen HTC one mic) here is real life test between HAAC mic -(debuted with Nokia 808, now in Lumia 720, 820, 920 AND current HTC One) and ALL other:

BTW smart ones who wants HTC One will hurry NOW to grab an HTC One with current mic because you can be sure the new "improved" mic will be inferior!
Any news on when this phone will be arriving in Pakistan? Also I would like to know the price of it, either in Pakistani Rupees or United State's Dollars.
[deleted post]I have only just started to read about this technology, however Nokia own literature, published in 2012, states that the haac microphone was developed "together with microphone suppliers".
My interpretation of this would be that development was a joint venture between Nokia and STM , with Nokia being the major player.
what a fach is this stupid problem with microphone? i never wonder what mics have my htc phone, all were superb in both directions: talking and hearing. what are all this fake problems ?
AnonD-115431, 28 Apr 2013you had ur last chance HTC now u failed us in so many ways... even sony is doing better than y... moreand that gives u a sense of power, putting others down? makes u feel clever?
if you really want to participate in the growth of the world say something constructive... expose in which areas they could get better, offer solutions...
the world is full of that stuff now... haven't realised it's not how the world will move forward?
Better be quite when all u have to say is hatred
Nokia : you used to be the number one in producing cell phone and now look at yourself
STM just lost HTC as a vendor, bad move by them, and it will also cost them legal fees. HTC had no way of knowing how long the agreement was between Nokia and SMT, by the way, this happens on a daily basis in the electronics industry.
AnonD-134497, 28 Apr 2013I don't know why but I am in deep love with this phone u r blindly supptng a dying brand.
nokia is jealous. they have nothing of their own.

HTC should sue STM to such an extent that in closes the manufacturer for damages. The clever game played by Nokia will backfire on them too if the provider STM is shut down operations. If they knowingly withheld this information from HTC with the I te t to disrupt production, I think HTC should take the gloves off and bring them to their knees. It is quite pathetic how big companies are suing each other because they are quite frankly starved for innovation. HTC - BRING OUT THE BIG GUNS.
