I've said it once and i'll say it a million times. The design may look like the iphone but when you're making a touch screen phone, you're basically making a screen with a border and its not really going to differ much in appearance.

I really do not get these hype with megapixels on phones. It's useless on a phone. The built-in photo processors in a device plays a major role in producing great photo results, and phones do not have that. So even with an 8mp camera, the results will not be any much different from the ones taken from a 2mp camera phone.
I would suggest getting this type of phone only if you do not own a digital camera, but then again, with the high price of phones with 5 - 8mp cameras, you're better off buying a digital camera and just get a music phone with a 2mp camera. You save more money that way and actually have better quality photos and videos.

So it's a cameraphone, hopefully good enough so you don't have to carry around extra digital camera with you.
Now all it comes down to is prize.
(BTW, there aren't THAT many Xenon phones on the market, which was a deal breaker for me on many alternatives. But if you don't care about taking photos, then there are other alternatives.)
If the prize is right and the photo quality is good, it will become a good competitor for the Nokia 6220 Classic.

8 MP camera???? Ok 8 mega pixels is lovely, however, what about the lens?? What about the processor??? mega pixels are useless if you havent got a good enough processor.
Also what about battery life??? The LG Viewty battery life is very poor. Im hoping this will have been improved because with all the added features its going to need extra battery power.
Will be interesting to see how this one goes.

Dolby sound doesn't mean that the sound will be above stereo, that's what Dolby 5.1 is.
It probably mean something like they will make the sound chip, make audio features such as EQ, or something along the lines of that.

HELLO?? Did they just say "DOLBY" SOUND ???
That means it's above stereo!! 6 Channels of Sound ... But how practical? Since all our MP3 Collections are Stereo only ... :D
Anyways, if it's 6 channels of sound, It's definitely an iPhone killer ... haha!

Xvid and DivX playback, man thats a sweet feature, Nokia Samsung or SE don have that fully covered its a good phone for people who don go crazy over 3rd party apps, thats pretty much it people who hated this phone hate it cause they get bored of it after using it for like a day and i don blame them, theres hardly any theme customizations or system add ons, but its still cool
