15.5mm thin??? That is thick in anyone’s book, anything under 14mm is what we call thin. I do hope this phone gets released soon, then Samsung should reduce the price of the Omnia 12.5mm THIN now that’s more like it.

people who are worried about the quality of the lens, you can check the review by GSMarena on theSamsung INNOV8. most likly it will be the same lens and the pictures quality is excellent i can see from the pictures in the review.

ok this will definitely NOT run on windows mobile, as pathetically enough, windows mobile doesn't support any screen shows 65K colours or more. it should run on symbian (fingers crossed).

oops. i've just dropped my idea of getting innov8... :)
i know 8mp for a phone is like marketing gimmicks, it's the lens that counts..
just curious: if nokia's using carl zeiss lens, sony ericsson has cybershot, LG's using Schenider lens, then what is samsung using?? saw picture samples taken by omnia, they are crisp and colours are great. and so are the ones taken by innov8 too..

Samsung, LG and Sony Ericsson(read:Sony) are bigger electronic manufacture. They easily added some high end feature they have to their mobile phone like camera(Samsung, Sony Cybershot), processor(Samsung), audio engine(Sony Walkman, Samsung DNSe), LCD (Samsung, LG, Sony Bravia), NAND Memory (Samsung), etc.
Nokia now have NGage, but Sony Ericsson can kick easily with PSP Phone or Samsung with XBox Phone(join with Microsoft like their previous work to make HDXBox).
I believe 80% Nokia mobile phone hardware are from other manufacture like Toshiba, Hitachi, etc.
In future, I think Nokia should concentrate with their software like Google, Microsoft, etc. Also not surprise Nokia bought all Symbian share and develop OVI, MOSH, etc.
