Has nothing to do with selling screens to Apple at all, they sell screens for many others too.

Samsung is or may be more important to Apple. Samsung is the world leader.

Sharp is now forbidden from competing with apple since they are now a major supplier of apple.

Sharp can't make a good smartphone.
They only can make good display.

Is it possible that Sharp is contractually restricted from competing in the same "larger" markets as Apple, since they are now an important apple supplier for displays?

Sharp should think about joining the world market.

I like Sharps 7 inch tablet/phone SHT21 (yes, unfortunate naming) because it has the exact right size to slip into a suit jacket inner pocket, has a great frugal IGZO screen and Apt-X. Only thing missing is to have it available in Europe.

If it doesn't have a. Good gpu, its not gonna sell.
Power vr 544, or a better gpu would be good. It doesn't have to be power vr, but it has to be better than galaxy s4s gpu. Nice baattery life. :)
