> In reply to [deleted post]You're Indian, right?

Hey , check the article on India in Encyclopediadramatica! I laughed so hard that,...

Sorry. Look, android takes up resources, true. But that is no longers a negative point. Cellphones now have, resources.

And yeah, true. Symbian was once considered too big to fail. Now I'm typing in one of the last symbian products! Everyone that has come in, one day will go. There's no arguing about that. But an open sourced, hackable, morphing OS has a better chance of staying longer; as compared to something nothing less than brilliant, but managed by a small group of people. I mean, charms wear off when old enough...

yeah, I'm blabbering! I should go take a nap.

I hate fanboyism, but I am a nokia fan. I had a Nokia C6, the N97 mini mini; and it died right before its second.birthday! So, I threw it at a NOKIAcare, and I was still under a Rs.500, $10 extended waranty. So,when my C6, the flop phone could not be repaired, nokia gave me a 700, belle smartphone. I mean, the.C6 had run its course, but, well... That's Nokia India. The first day I had a 150 mb OTA update to feature pack 2, and microsoft goodies and...

Nokia is still rolling updates. Camera fixes, calling... You know...

So, that doesn't prove anything, of course; but Nokia will never lose me. I mean, I owe them a phone right?

And the store is a lot cheaper too. It's localised. So, an app that costs $1 in US costs us Rs.15 here in India, instead of 50.

Am I a fanboy? Yes.
Am I blind? No.
Do I talk too much? Yes.
Am I annoying?
you tell me!

I think, there is no replacing android; it's already a fully evolved and mature ecosystem. It will always remain on the top. But I don't think that way of the iOS. Windows and Nokia are going after That. And the reason Windows phone is still not booming is because nobody likes to be a beta tester. It's a baby OS, still has a long way to go. And it is developing, in terms of apps, usability, customisation...

Android and Windows phone are both the future, people get to choose. That's what I think, and that's what I want.

And I hate Apple. They produce the costliest phone around, but that can't beat any of the Flagships Android and WP are offering! That is, in fact, pathetic.

I would make a full reply to that but your grammar and spelling sucks so badly, i couldn't understand your post.
However, i did see you use the words 'Open Source' - That means sod all buddy! What it does mean though, is that it makes an operating system extremely vunerable, and Android IS vunerable! The exploits being used on Android today are quite frightening, for those reasons, you won't see it commercially on a PC/Laptop.

> In reply to ThomasCarlsson @ 2013-05-14 06:05 from J5Qu - click to readFirst of all, android is a crap. Even linux does not have so many security licks or viruses like android. Second of all, Android only linux based, and it's no where near linux. Third, Linux is not a system for anybody and was never made for that. Linux is more for coders and programers and has allot of market share in this direction i don't think they are interested to fight with windows, i also don't think they will ever win. Windows has them all, programs games, web everything is optimized, made for windows. So, Linux is the future? :))). Yeah right.

well windows Is a new os but now it just behind apple Ios powered phones acc to sales reprt for last quarter so its the future.
Also its UI is so popular especially the live tiles that every other anroid phone maker is copying that.So my advise it to go with the future not the past.
