And for your information, Smape.com has just done a music contest review of different music phones. It was pointed out that dedicated music devices like ipod are losing out to music phones. That makes sense. Why buy a music device when a music phone can do so much more yet comes at a similar price?

But for your information, HTC touch diamond is slow and battery sucks. Omnia, is over priced windows. I love the style in this one. and it has HEPTIC FEEDBACK. this phone actually feeds back! lolz

A 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 16 Million colors will go up against the iPhone's 3.5-inch multi-touch display. To handle communications duties, there's a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE radio with 3G UMTS/HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, and some GPS thrown-in for good measure. There's also a 3.5mm headphone jack and TV-out port on the Nokia 5800 XpressMedia. And, just like the updated N82, the Nokia 5800 XpressMedia will support geo-tagging of pics - a nicety allowed by the built-in GPS receiver.

Nokia 5800 XpressMedia specifications:

* 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 16 Million colors (Tactile Feedback)
* 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus
* Quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM/EDGE radio -3G UMTS/HSDPA
* Bluetooth 2.0
* WiFi
* GPS
* 3.5mm headphone jack
* TV-out port
* 140MB on-board storage
* 111 x 52 x 14.5 mm
* 104g
* First device powered with S60 touch

Quit saying who's better. Nokia owns 40% of the cell phone market. Iphone is a very good phone but it got too common and is too big for me. Every other kid in my building has an iphone. That's why i've been waiting and waiting for this phone to come out.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-09-25 17:26 from kH@$ - click to readIt's because most people are just following the trend and clueless/ignorant about Apple products.
Apple iPods and iPhone are OVER-RATED. They are designed to rip people off their own money and still be glad to do it.
Like I said: Clueless...
For music phones, SE is definitely the BEST!
Nokia is started to catch up though...

> In reply to .... @ 2008-09-25 15:53 from PDPb - click to readNOKIA N98 is the high end counterpart of 5800 xpressmusic, touchscreen plus 5MP camera.
NOKIA N97 is the 8MP flagship device, slider with a rotating camera at the top, not touchscreen.
5800 XpressMusic is just an experiment.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-09-25 16:28 from NH6$ - click to readno. i dont think the new 5800 xpressmusic is better than n79. the only thing that 5800 has over n79 is touchscreen & new symbian os version which right now is totally useless as there's no applications yet that are compatible for that os version. don't fall for 5800. that's just a testing device, some sort of an experiment. n79 is a lot better than 5800. the feature set, the operating system, the user interface, everything is engineered to perfection.
