great phone! smooth operating, very fast, very sensitive, elegant, really handled well.... Until, I got the kitkat update(which is beautifully downloaded over the air and updated directly thru the phone, totally hassle free)... Neways, got the update, and I started to notice the odd hang, once or twice it reset by itself and about two months later, the bottom of the screen (part with the three touch icons for back etc...) became unresponsive! didn't have warranty ... anyway, took it to the LG service in Ekm, and they couldn't care less... was told directly from the reception with barely a glance at the phone that the entire touch will have to be replaced... as I didn't appreciate the candour, I relied I'd return at a later date... that's my experience... but have to say its a beautiful and fast phone... its really good when it works!

jPush, 20 Jun 2013Phone is very fragile my fathers Nexus 4 phone does not sustain 3-4 ft drop ang front gorilla ... moreAgree - I was completely sold on this until I dropped it from 2 feet and the front screen is smashed and totally unresponsive. Gorilla Glass??? That is just not it. I have had a blackberry 9900 for over 3 years and a Motorola Defy and both have suffered numerous nasty drops and nothing happened. One drop of N4 and it is useless. Please do not buy this phone.
Yes the Indian version heats up near the camera area. There are also battery drain issues at times.

In addition to it, Xperia SP hardware is inferior to Nexus 4 (except for 4G LTE). But 4G takes a fair amount of time to get matured in the India.

AnonD-56691, 17 May 2013It is funny to see how Google and LG thinks. They launched Nexus 4 in US and other European co... moreInfact there is nothing funny about the pricing of nexus 4 in India. In us the nexus 4 sells at a heavily subsidized price and is directly sold by google. google does not have profit expectation from hardware sales. They sell devices at heavily subsidized rates to increase footprint of Google services(via android) in handheld devices and thus increase their revenue through advertisement services attached to their various web based services. However in India nexus 4 is launched by lg. Lg has no choice but to put a decent profit margin on the device. Considering the use of web based services through handheld devices in India, were not all handheld device users are yet to even use 3g, google is yet to see the need to sell nexus 4 at a subsidized rate. However google may surely think about it once high speed internet gets much better penetration on mobiles in india
gopi.india, 18 May 2013Nexus 7 should also arrive. That sells hot than this one. Bring that down.It is already available in India. Both wifi only and wifi+3g versions
