i would just like to say i have had my eye on the samsung Bresson (pixon) for a while now and will gladly be getting this phone on contract when it is in store on contract. i currently have the samsung g600, which is a great phone and never broken once whilst i have had it in the last 16 months. i will surely be getting the samsung 8mega-pixel camera as soon as my contract is up. thanks samsung for bringing a truely likeable new little gadget that everyone will enjoy x.x.x.x

I hope that it has a Xenon flash, because that was something that was missing on the i8510. The lack of wifi is a bit of a shame but apart from that this seems like a really cool phone. Definately one to be considered if you are looking for a camera phone to replace your compact digital camera. Thumbs up Samsung

> In reply to scarnix @ 2008-09-26 17:15 from u1vj - click to readwell you are right that it would have been great with Wifi and windows. But remember the companies have to take care of their customers as well as they cannot just make their flagship phone look old. If samsung had put these things in this one then Omnia would no longer have been good. then all of us who just bought Omnia would be pissed. So, IMO this is the right move to make one 8MP phone as a smart phone without touchscreen and another as a feature phone and touchscreen. This gives more options and keep lot of their customers happy.

> In reply to rio @ 2008-09-26 13:32 from tWhy - click to readWe should wait for its official price. If it's in the same price bracket as SE's C905 or LG's Renoir then having no Wi-Fi/Symbian would indeed be stupid.

samsung is nuts. it would have been gem of a phone, if it was windows or symbian.

> In reply to mohxxx @ 2008-09-26 13:21 from M}5B - click to readSeems you haven't updated yourself. Be it omnia or Innov8..they all have Superior build quality, not made of 'plastic' as you said. You have taken 2 manufacturers name. They in fact make plastic phones. And just to add, Innov8's camera quality has no match. It's best in the market right now. The music capabilities is unbeaten. Nokia's solution or Walkman doesn't come close according to reviews. Like it or not Samsung has the high-end crown now till someone else claim it.
