It should be seamless to the front and snap on back cover, otherwise it is like you are holding 2 mobile phones joined together honestly it's not a good looking design for me. The front and design is very simple and clean but when you look at it on the side there is the downside. Cheers for jolla.

This is a really interesting concept, Compatible with Android Apps, and hopefully an OS that is as fast and powerful as MEEGO with great power management. Cant wait to get my hands on it.

This phone is amazing. Both the OS and the phone embody the philosophy of openness and embraces the user. This is the phone I have been waiting for and the only one that is a worthy replacement of the mighty N900.

> In reply to zamroni @ 2013-05-21 06:15 from txq1 - click to readI wonder who made the hardware? RIM (AKA Blackberry) was the first name that popped into my mind when I saw the design. Some people already think the new Blackberry OS is similar to MeeGo.
As for running Android apps - Will this phone also be subjected to virus and malware issues that many Android users complained about?
Jolla stated a version of their Sailfish OS will be an option for current MeeGo devices. Maybe, I'll try this on my N9.

Impressive! When S3 and S4 have similar designs, fanboys said there is this much to different design. But look at this phone, impressive design!

What battery capacity Jolla will have? Suppose amazing.

Non-google Linux that support android .apk... OOOOH thats great!
You're true, the best name for google android is spyware where even "kernel" asks for google servers at pure phone (thank God I've installed firewall that save mobile money each day).

Jolla can get success BUT if they'll make stylish design. Don't do toilet orange/cyan only! That would be fail for such original phone.

I am really impressed by Jolla, and if it is possible to install and use every Android app and game from all alternativ, not Google Play, markets, including install and use the Adobe flash .apk, then this will be far better than Android, and WP8 and iOS..., and I will definetly buy this Jolla phone!
