All I need to know is the price of this romantic phone. I'm tired of hearing people compare this phone with the iphone.

> In reply to Paul @ 2008-10-09 14:17 from MAETOf course this is not in the same league with iPhone. This is a better featured (50% higher resolution screen, way better foto-video camera, real bluetooth, video calling, SMS forwarding, multi-SMS sending, RDS radio, MMS, SD card, flash support, copy-paste, modem, lot more input posibilities, fully one hand controlable) SIM-unlocked, battery replaceble, contract free, free music, half priced phone. Clearly not in the same league with iPhone. iPhone will have these features maybe in 2010-2011 (but my guess it will never have them all). So that leaves the iPhone for fashion lovers: 3 mm less thick, metal margins, high quality glass screen and most importatly for some, the Apple logo.

Will everyone please stop mentioning the iphone this is not in the same league as the iphone as is not meant to, this is a mid range phone & is competing with the HTC, Sony Ericsson & Samsung phones. One thing that makes the nokia the king is the user interface & nokia MAPS, the one thinks that I hate about nokia’s is that like to make phones over 15mm THICK, its only 3.2 mega pixel & without a mechanical keyboard, WHY is it so thick. Can’t wait till next year when they will release a touchscreen phone to compete with the Iphone

> In reply to apa lo! @ 2008-10-09 01:50 from inV6Nice to see that some people already have full reviews of a product that only few could get their hands on.. But hey, I guess you're right, SE rocks... but hold on a second... I never used a SE product... Well, doesn't matter, I heard it rocks, so it must rock...

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-10-07 18:49 from mCSYWho said they "hate the iPhone"?
We're just saying here that iPhone is only for a certain market, as well as the 5800 XpressMusic is for an other market.
Of course the iPhone is only for the ones who can afford it, it became a "tool" to show your "high status".
Well... can tell you that this is not the case anymore.
Seen 2 kids, barely 18, who were playing with their shiny new iPhone.
When it comes to the iPhone device, I bough one, tried to use it for few weeks and got really frustrated.
I am a power user, and that device left me powerless.
When it comes to the 5800, have had it also for couple weeks now and even if there are still improvements to make on the User eXperience (that I already forwarded to the right people), I know what's going on, everything is visible, and I can tune the device the way I want, not the way Nokia wants.
As said earlier:
Apple locks the user so that he can't make mistake
Nokia trusts the user and give him tools to achieve
Both strategies work, but not with the same category of people.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-10-07 18:49 from mCSYi love macs. i have macbook pro and air. I also have an iphone 3g. I can buy as many iphones as i want if i'm happy with it. sadly, it's shortcomings are very disappointing. i love apple/mac but i'm not blind like most apple users.

The only people that hate the iPhone are the ones that can't afford it! Face it, the iPhone is revolutionary and that's why almost every manufacturer is falling over themselves trying to copy it.

Of all the touch-centric phones out there, I think that this is the only phone that can truely compete with the iPhone. For music and all-in-one Multimedia this is the only touch device that's really capable of taking the fight to Apple. This is the reason why Nokia is World Number 1
