i see u have never listened to the megabass trademark and walkman 3.0 application on sony W series phones, if u did u would not talk like that, and obviously u have a iphone hence the low expectation for e complete range of the sound spectrum. The Sony Walkman 3.0 and megabass trademark has walked away with several awards for best portable music application, which is even recomended by experts to plug into the home system for music listening. Just because i have the insight on how chinese companies usually "water" material to make more units then it is supposed to with the given amount of rawware, and don't usually keep up with the standards doesnt mean i have something against "them", i am Chinese myself u fool.

> In reply to nick @ 2008-10-07 19:53 from nxwQTo Nick. Let me explain how dumb your scenario is. You're on a webpage on cell phone. Then all of a sudden you have this urge to send SMS. But at the same time you still want to stay on the webpage. Now how would you do that? What does your cellphone have? PIP, or split screen? LOL.

With the iphone, you can listen to music while sending SMS, and even have an application installing in the background. Now that scenario is more logical. If you don't want to call that multi-tasking, what would you call that?

> In reply to High Fidelity @ 2008-10-07 19:37 from M8TuAnd to you High Fidelity.

Nothing wrong if Apple made business with company's in China. Why? Do you Chinese people cannot put together a high quality product? Do you have something against the Chinese?

Also, you're silly to think that a cell phone would ever have rich bass, LOL. Get a stereo system at home if you want to listen to loud music with really good bass, for cellphones, use a headphone dummy.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-10-07 19:47 from abF8dont make me laugh, you cannot multitask on the iphone. try sending a text message and browse the internet at the same time, impossible.
you'd have to close the browser

Oh please. Get over it. Yes, the iphone does not have MMS and SMS forwarding, but it has multi-touch and a best touch UI. Now let's do some math here. How often does an average person forwards an SMS or sends an MMS? Maybe once in 2 months. How often do you use the UI and multi-touch? Every time you use the phone. So which feature is more useful and worth having? Also, I can email a picture at no extra charge, w/ MMS you pay extra.

And here's your mistake. Iphone can do multi-tasking. You can have the ipod on while doing other stuff, plus, download apps in the background. That is multi-tasking. As for corporate email, the iphone does have push email as well. Also, you can send a link/webpage from the iphone. You obviously have not experienced the iphone if you think that it cannot perform those tasks. Yes, you should end your sarcasm, it does not serve you well =)

Also, I do think that the BB Storm is a cool phone and worth checking out.

Iphone worked hard day and night for a whole year, which resulted in a adding 3G to their music box, wow! Kudos in gloryfying a little music box made in Shengzen, China. Even in the music department, Sonys W series phones are far better in lower bass and cryslal clear midrange sound spectrum according to experts Digital Sound Studios International in www.mobil.se

The BB Storm is RIM's touchpad handset line to compete w/ iPhone 3G, SE X1 & Samsung Omnia.

It's nice to know that corporate inclined phones are becoming at par with the trendy consumer phones.

I just hope that the after sales support of RIM on these new phones would not take more than 1month for them to finish said transactions.

> In reply to [deleted post]The sound quality on i-phone too is awful so not even thats good,,its too thick and bland with no crispness,,mind you these apple people would do anything for steve even sacrifice???

The blackberry is a real smartfone and at least it can do things a 5 year old fone does,, the iphone doesnt do basic 5 year ago phone tasks that are expected as the norm..

Will it have caller ID? Here in Brasil, Blackberrys and i-phones don't have it, when you store the number with the country and area codes. It's just unbelevable!!!!!!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-10-07 15:48 from 2CJaYeah...because the Iphone could handle multiple Apps that you could switch to, or corporate enterprise e-mail or sending webpages as SMS MMS or E-mail...obviously blackberrys are there to compete with the iPhone! /end sarcasm.

Will be one of the better touch screen phones I think. Still no iPhone killer. Iphones liquid response wonderful interface and networking is superior to all. App store... Safari... Itunes... It can't be beaten. But I do believe blackberry will have a good phone here

Not seeing much of a fluid UI in that video. Seems quite chunky too.
