The South Korean company has successfully argued that some Apple products violate Samsung's 7,706,348 patent. The devices in question? The iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3 (presumably they mean the 3G), the iPad 3G (first gen)...

The fact remains they won no money from this case plan and simple. Second no one is using a "scapegoat". You can Google the facts but you don't want to. Instead you try and make up some facts. The media already mentioned what was won and lost in this particular case. So I called you a fanboy because after the facts are laid out you still don't acknowledge it. Instead you go jumping off subject just to prove what again that Apple takes ideas and designs?? Yeah of course they do heck both companies do. But still stick to the topic at hand my friend.

Dunno if winning nothing (not in dollars at least) is intended here. If it is, it's a great way to slap the other guys in the face. Not everything is about money.

If you have not been following the facts long enough to even know what I said about more recent events you really shouldn't be here to comment pretending you know something at all

I think samsung won plenty here, it seems apple was doing exactly the same what they have accused samsung. So if samsung is a thief then apple is too..

WTF! Apple lost again!come on!you guys used to sue each other and you lose in most cases?Out from planet now, I hate you guys for lack of customization and freedom and think us like sheep. Now, you even lack of innovation, will you guys put out iphone5S with the slight hardware upgrade with newer version of iOS? and appearances will be like totally same? No wonder, you lost phone and tablet market to Andriod and PC/desktop markets to Microsoft decade ago. Some last word, pay the tax regularly, don't dodge it by putting two third in other countries where you can evade tax and don't cheat in ebook selling ok. That's all! Take care!Hope god won't bang you pretty hard anytime soon LOL.

Its already been proven that Samsung steals designs and ideas from other companies. You sound like a Samsung fanboy who doesn't want to face the facts that their beloved Samsung is far from perfect.

It's not about money. It's about losing face and stained image. Apple is very cocky and arrogance. When Apple make bigger phone, they will make it very odd number like 4.67 inches or 4.83 inches then call it perfect size after years of R&D. Then all ifollows will said so it's perfect size.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-06-05 17:28 from m}e2 - click to readExactly, they use Samsung for SoC's, ram, SSD, Display, Retina Displays, Audio tech, Nand chips, and so forth.

When they tried taking Samsung for money on all the phones and tablets their true plan became obvious. With them wanting something like $30-$40 or $50 a device what they were doing was trying to get so much money they would be able buy the parts from Samsung, get their money back, plus make mountains of profits. All around making off with free parts and money.

> In reply to xperianxt @ 2013-06-05 21:08 from baK9 - click to readSorry. You made a typo there. Yes the copybot is Crapple. Just helping along. Samsung won things too. Like money. Also two loosing cases in a row where crapple had to post on their own site in the UK that Samsund did not copy Ipad. Even pay them money the second time. They even tried to say two weeks was not enough time and then tried to do it in a non complying way and the court had to threaten them. Not to mention copying SLG and Samsung designs, stealing patents, stealing from Swiss, even stealing the names Ipad and Iphone.
