Since Apple :caugh: stole :caugh: inspired a lot of things from other operating system. Will there be lawsuits? Nice rip offs, way to go hypocrite Apple.
ios 7 is a true epic!one can't simply name 1 place it didn't took inspiration from.android, meego, windows phone,sailfish,bb10 and d whole lot.the colour tone of notification centre is awful...that looks like a 5 year old java phone!!lolz

Gud job from late job's company.
Seeing as Android and Windows cannibalised iOS to begin with with a whole bunch of similar features, the fanboy rage on here is quite funny.

Az first I was reading this with excitement. But When I got to the end, i taught yep, nothing new (compared to android) . Makes me wonder who copies who

Apple has a great new product in the works that will return it to glory. No to be outdone by google glasses, Apple will be releasing iBallz.

Anyone taking bets there will be a battery drain issue on 7.0 which will quickly need to be patched to fix? Seems to happen every couple releases. haha.
How odd, no news on fixes to the map app.
Pass the beer nuts.
X, 11 Jun 2013Why, why is MS using such ugly old women on their advertisements? Look at the iPhone chick on ... morethat chick must be Siri I guess, but that's not important, what is and I don't give a ... if it's more accurate or not, is that she uses bing now instead of google:)...well maybe she won't stutter anymore and actually finds something instead of some pushed and heavily advertised POS:) but Google for sure won't be happy about this:)))
It's about new look and improved features...it's not like they invented then now...in fact they had first stept to a smartphone. I use ios since ios 4 and i was very pleesed , now i have 6.1 and its great i hardly wait to install 7.
Lol...they all get inspiration from Meego harmattan on Nokia n9...every OEM is just striping that UI...but they can't match that kind of multitasking and UI flow on n9.
Not bad apple...like the girly look of iOS 7...it's a dream come true for many girls, good strategy to capture the market...girls gonna make us buy the upcoming iphone 5s or 6 coz of this girly iOS 7
Anonymous, 10 Jun 2013more bashing means apple made good work...
= more praise means the product sucks ???Apple deserves to be bashed after all the things it gets wrong first time, every time. They admitted defeat by copying Android 1.6 features.
And, about your statement, if you really believe that bashing from all sides (incl. iOS users) is proof of good products, then repeat after me: war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength. These are Apple's guidelines.
If this is the best Apple can do they are in trouble and I'll tell you why. CEO Tim Cook said ios 7 is “the biggest change to iOS since the introduction of the iPhone.”
Having Apple employees basically look at and copy what the cydia/winterboard community has done with fonts and themes and what other phone os' have done with functionality is not close to having enough change with substance. Apple hasn't done much in the way of innovation in this release.
Sure, the browser history swipe feature is innovative but that's about it. The redesign of the integration of notifications is an overdue feature, but hardly innovative as are the other changes.
Then there's the type of innovation which irritating; like their lightning connector, the AirDrop is another proprietary move for Apple to maximize profits (no need to pay for NFC) and puts the company first and the consumer second.
The only other features worth mention are the improvements in Siri and the app multi-tasking and power management feature, although the latter sounds intentionally vague as no figures are available on how much it will extend battery life for the average user.
Apple had an innovation home run with Siri (although technically it wasn't their innovation as Apple purchased Siri Inc). If Apple (or any phone os) wants to grab market share they need at least 1 home run every 12-18 months (or at more frequently than your competitors) otherwise your product becomes a commodity competing on price only.
Although ios7 has a number of new features, the sum of them does not amount to a home run. Apple needs to do better or it will see loss of market share in the US like it is seeing in other parts of the world.
