> In reply to [deleted post]LCD is not sharper than Amoled. That specific Amoled used a pentile matrix. And the difference is not noticeable in 90% of the scenario without close inspection of detail.
Not to mention you completely ignored everything I pointed out about contrast.
Or that fact you just spammed the page because you are a fanatic troll.
And if you use the natural mode IPS is not that much more natural. Just slightly. Until you count that is is showing grey not black and it's white balance is more off. So Amoled is overall more natural. And this is old comparison. Compare the new S4 which is just as detailed without micro scope even though it's still pentile. Or compare RGB WVGA Amoled.

And acting like Samsung is some evil company and nobody else has used or uses bad or worse tactics is even more ridiculous.

Also there are all trolls on all pages. They all make erratic claims. However the majority if it is trolls from all sides all hating and bashing on Samsung. Which is why most of my comments are defending them lately. Then after so many people bash Samsung someone else comes on talking about Samsung trolls when there is one or none in site....This is going on in almost every page

Amoled is saturated or on almost same accuracy level.
Overall less power consuming. Overall more natural in it's accurate mode due to true black, accurate colors, and more accurate white balance.

It's thinner, less reflective, far superior contrast and response time, better angles, black of course, the best of both worlds, better white balance, bendable, more even lighting, less power consuming.

LCD is brighter on average, ever so slightly better white, and less power using whites.

As for everything else.....You obviously have not been paying attention for a long time

Cool gadget!!!
I hope it will have Radio inside, not lack of it like the Galaxy S4.
Of course it is a must for this kind of device having the same sensors even more than the Galaxy S4, and a lot of new improved features, as the best camera, best display, best softs and so forts.
I am waiting for this device, and if it will fulfill my expectations I will buy it.

Super Amoled produces very colourful / sometimes darker colour even it was not the correct colours of an object.

True HD IPS has better and brighter white
Super Amoled has Deep Black

True HD IPS has better neutral balanced of mixed colours
Super Amoled is more likely darker.

Overall True HD IPS is better.

Other than that, the 1080p AMOLED display on the S4 has beat all other competitors in terms of color reproduction. HTC One, LG Optimus Pro G and Sony Xperia Z included. The best LCD panel in terms of color reproduction, the iPhone 5, only matches it in that regard.

Well, HTC does not make the screen or the lCD.

Secondly, Sharp makes the 1080p display. The layer reducing techonlogy was stolen from Samsung themselves.

Thirdly, OLED displays are way better than LCD. since they do not need a back light. they are also flexible and the future in mobile technology

amuses me as many of the commenters, discomfort published criticisms that are not at all consistent, which favors us are themselves consumers, businesses lg, samsung, apple, htc, huawei ... among other brands, is a war between them for who will sell more, the inovation the left side, everybody wants to be as imaginative as possible, in order to sell, I like it because I know I will be the beneficiary with technology, but I'm going by samsung which is the best copy :) characteristics of other phones.

samsung thought iphone as its only competetor , now seeing htc design, sony waterproof huawei mega screen and nokia eos camera it is verymuch insecure... wants to break into each by launching different products..ina hurry attempt it has failed to see the pricetag of its own device.. what a pity lg is eating into it...
just imagine
s4 with 20mp cam, water and shatter proof build , 3 years warrenty , 2.1 speakers,4200mah battery.. samsung could have sacrificed thinness as a feature and added wod have been master piece and crown for next 3 years... samsung wasted an oppertunity.
