If I'm a developer, the first thing I do is get rid of that ugly pink and purple theme and icons. Unless you're into the hello kitty thing then I guess it's OK.
Chandax, 25 Jun 2013As everyone said, it's buggy! 1. Many apps closes immediately as soon as you try to open it... moreof cause it buggy , cause its still beta. thats why it made for developer , so developer can make their apps support latest ios ...
At this point, main trends on IOS 7 on iphone 5 :
No " Cellular " acces on control panel, have to switch from settings
If you have any NON app store buy app, you loose any data, file on your iphone, so backup and then you can donwload it again.
I have Private Photo Vaulty, can't acces because the keyboard does not show to set the access password !!, action: remove and reinstall, but all data is cleared.
The rest of the phone is working fine, email, facebook, twitter, etc....regards !!!!

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2013I'm still confused as it was supposed to look very different and had months spent redesigning ... more"For the most part it barely looks any different?"
Home screen is only thing which looks quite same, everything else has re-designed.
cfm69, 24 Jun 2013I have iPhone 4S iOS Version 6.1.3. Tried to check update for iOS7 and it's not ready yet. Any... moreSorry, I didn't make it clear in my first reply. My apologies.
Your iPhone is compatible, but iOS 7 will be released in September, around the 21st. The current iOS 7 is in beta, and is not ready for a public release; it has a lot of issues. Only iOS app developers have access to the beta iOS 7.
So, all in all, it'll be available for your iPhone 4S around mid-September. :)

1. Many apps closes immediately as soon as you try to open it.
2. When apps request for Allow location "Cancel or Ok" before you choose the option disappear with grayed out screen.
1. Download the correct .ipsw file for your device link: http://www.evad3rs.net/2013/04...-how-to.html
2. Back up your contacts using icloud or copytrans.
3. Connected iPhone via USB and open up iTunes on restore hit the shift and left mouse click buttons down together this will allow you to manually search for the iOS you downloaded for iPhone 5 you would select iOS 6.1.4 for all other devices you would select iOS 6.1.3
4: Once the device has restored make sure that you have to choose "setup as new" (this option on iPhone screen)and that you get to the home screen. (Very Important point, if you don't follow this step then you will end up in a page saying IOS7 B1 activation failure screen)
5: Now on the Check for updates button hit shift and left mouse click down together this time you need to select iOS 7 for your device now when the device finishes updating it will be on iOS 7 activated.
Dude, with the link above provided for downloading the .ipsw, you have to scroll down the page and go to "iOS 7 Beta 1 Download Links (Direct links from Mega)" and from there selected your device .ipsw file.
For example: Mine is A1429 (Turn around the phone and look at the rear side of the phone you will find the model number there)
I have tried installing "iOS 7 Beta 1" on my iPhone5 and it works fine without any issue. I haven't tried installing "iOS 7 Beta 2" bcoz it's just released 4hours back. I will install "iOS 7 Beta 2" today and will update you whether it gets installed fine or not. So till then u can try with IOS7 B1 or else if you wanna try IOS7 B2 then it's up to you to decide :-)
Riyaan, 24 Jun 2013i updated my iphone 4 to ios 7 as soon as it was released but it was so laggy that i had to do... moreWaste of time checking battery life at the moment wait till its gone Gold Master.Wish to take part but will wait till its fully released ,i will take part next time for IOS 8 and get involved.
I can understand all the Bluetooth transfer, micro sd slot, file manager missing etc but IOS is so simple to work with and it all just works,BUT,i do think in todays climate they should go straight to iphone 6...It will be another year before next iphone in 2014 and all other O/S will be farther ahead and new ones introduced..
At the moment IOS is the oldest O/S out and I just know that from iphone 5 and its troubles no way will a 5s sell well ...All my mates have stayed on iphone 4s like me after upgrading to 5 then selling it,i was one that got 2 chips straight out of box.
The thing is Apple usually pull something out of the bag and Phil Schillers "CANT INNOVATE MY ASS" seemed to imply Apple have seen their arse and want to get back to where they belong with that surprise revealing at their events. To me and many others the 5 was a bit of a let down and they absolutely need to change the aluminium material this time round.

jonathan3579, 24 Jun 2013How do you install the beta without being a developer?Google. You are welcome.
i updated my iphone 4 to ios 7 as soon as it was released but it was so laggy that i had to downgrade back to ios 6.1.3, but when apple released its ios 7 beta 2, i thought i should check if there are any improvements, it took one hour to install the beta 2 .... but i can see that there is much performance improvements accross the system ... text is easier to type without lagging much ... safari was horrible before ... but now its much improved ... i have to check the battery life ... still have to be improved .. there are some lags in it ... but we can use it ... :-)
Arif, 24 Jun 2013Yes, of course you can. If you have an iPhone 4, 4S or 5, you can upgrade to iOS 7.I have iPhone 4S iOS Version 6.1.3. Tried to check update for iOS7 and it's not ready yet. Any idea when it will be release? Thanks for the reply anyway.
If you don't want to have a headache, don't update! remember its BETA! Just wait for the official release to have "lesser" bugs. :)
