How can they fail when everyone wants it big. Even you GF wants it big. Seriously a bigger screen is way bettet than a 4 inch screen.

I really really can't imagine a company like Xiaomi that wants to introduce a flagship smartphone with the ambition to blow phones like Htc One and S4 away to make it 5.5 inch!!!! IMPOSSIBLE. Just read the reactions on this site alone, if you make it 5.5 inch you shoot yourself in the foot.

So this picture is a fake and should be removed from the site...

Totaly agree, for now there is no chance to buy any high end phone with compact size. All those mini versions with 4.3 inch are mind range or eaven low...

If this is true, bye bye Xiaomi, it was nice knowing you. I want a phone, not a phablet. You had a chance to differentiate yourselves from all the drones who are churning out these massive monstrosities by keeping phones "phone-sized", but instead you're going to fall into the trap of being just another oversized phablet on the market.

Oh God No!
Xiaomi was like one of the last standing forts of reason among the phablet mania plague. Not them!! Not 5.5 inch screen in a phone!
Not with sharp edges!!!

I hope they also introduce something 4.3"-4.7" with HD-FHD screen at the same time with Mi3.

All I see from that pic is an HDTV hanging on the wall. Must be the wrong pic. You can even see the power cord hanging below the TV. Strange!
