I have experiences with Nokia and my fellow colleagues who's been using N73, N95, N82 & etc keep complaining about the self restart or lack of system. We urged u "SE" please keep the partnership with UIQ Technology to market a extreme device to the world users or operators. I believe what buyers want is a true stable and tonnes of softwares available.

Thank you opera team for developing great web browsers for range of gadgets.
SE is very stupid and doesn't have clear strategies to market their high end mobiles running on lovely OS Symbian UIQ3 and now they are blaming OS saying that it didn't attract consumers, developers and operators. I dont agree with Sony Ericsson's bad comment to kill such a wonderful OS. UIQ is one of the best and stable operating system with rich user interface and is superior to Nokia's S60 OS. It's not only my own opinion but also the opinion of many UIQ3 mobile users and hence developers like Opera and Dreamspring are still supporting UIQ os. Though Nokia is a major market share holder, their handsets are not stable and freeze quite often. It's very annoying to use Nokia mobiles including N95 and E71. They freeze and restart atleast once a day. Where as UIQ3 devices such as Sony Ericsson P1i, w960i and G900 doesn't freeze for even a month. They are very stable. Doen't show out of memory message even if you open 10+ applications running on the backgroung at time and that's where Nokia's S60 os fails. But I'm sure Nokia is going to make use of UIQ3's user interface for developing stable and rich user interface in their future touch screen based handsets like Nokia tube 5800. Sony Ericsson doesn't have patience to update their firmware for old UIQ mobiles such as P990i, M600, W950 etc. But I'm happy with my lovely gadget SE P1i. Thanks opera for supporting UIQ3 phones. Keep ur good work going.

To the ignorants, opera 8.65 on UIQ3 devices SUPPORTS FLASH by installing swmail´s flash pluggin. However, on opera 9.5 is not fully working: only local swf files can be played on the browser, not web content.

Thank you Opera!
It works well on my W960i, but the font could not be seen when fill in the company webmail column. Will give comments when 100% tested.

I don't agree with those who said UIQ is gonna kick out.
I believe n trust this is a turning point for someone where others see it as dead end. One thing for sure is UIQ3 is very stable yet user friendly.

Hoping SE can grab this opportunity to work with opera when introducing new model. And of coz, do not forget your old chunks who still using models like P1i or W960i and beyond.

Well, do hope that it supports Flash Lite 3 when watching online video. Hope soon we can have a full function version of opera 9.5.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2008-10-22 00:22 from S9Ja - click to readyou can actually download the FlashLite Beta 3.1 and put it into the windows folder on your ppc, or there's some flashlite 3.1 beta you can download on xda that enable you to play flash video in ppc. I have been able to watch video on full youtube site for awhile now.

that is because to run flash on opera- you need the flash application that currently only Nokia(from what i have seen on the phones i have used- and that is quite a few, being a phone salesperson) phones.

Note that Opera won't work on very old phones like the P990, W950 and M600 due to their extremely low amounts of RAM.. this program needs a lot of RAM to run.
