guys calm down, its not out yet so the price will always be inflated, the nearer it gets to release it will drop, and then after 2-3 weeks on market it will drop even more then on average once a month after that, it will not be this listed price on its release that is for sure, just look at every other manufacturer apart from apple, they set the price on announcement and that's it end of. im interested to see some more stills from this beast device

Obviously there will be a few retailers trying to rip you off from the high publicity of the Nokia 1020 launch.

Wait for a real retailer and the will be around 599 euro.

DON'T GET YOUR PANTIES IN A TWIST!

It has already been proven that people don't buy phones solely for the camera but for the operating system, that's the reason why Android and iOS have triumphed.

> In reply to Hextor @ 2013-07-14 19:41 from pqC6 - click to readIt's pre-order... And it's compared to the Iphone in terms of price range... Well you get a lot more than the iPhone can offer. And it's costing the same as a brand new smartphone on the market... Go buy your android china nonamed phone for 100 bucks if you want cheap and only specs for bragging. As a price it will be the same eventually as the Samsung products and I don't see people complaining about them or the iPhone... What is the difference here except that this is a brand new Nokia phone.

To make it simpler for people: buy the legendary 808 PureView.

But expect Stephen Elop to make something stupid soon.

Even it becomes Android OS, i'll never by that! Too expensive! I'll keep my 808 Pureview for now.
