Anonymous, 20 Jul 2013iOS won't die anytime soon. It has got almost everything now and there's no OS fragmentation i... moreHmmm then I'm wondering why my iPad 2 only have the iTunes Radio feature when the iPod touch 5g, iPad mini and iPhone 4S is gonna have the other features of iOS 7 when they are all having the same A5 chip? Why didn't my iPad 2 have siri when the iPad mini has? Ohh and it seems airdrop won't make it to the iPhone 4S while the iPod touch 5g will have it? Its basically the latest version number with the look and feel only and no real features. I can easily achieve this on winter board. Basically as good as not upgrading at all, fragmented indeed.

Why didn't my iPad 2 have Siri when the iPad mini and iPhone 4S and iPod touch 5g have them when they're are all the same chip? And look, iPod touch 5g will have all the new features of ios 7 while my iPad 2 will only have the pathetic iTunes radio, ohh and iPhone 4S won't get airdrop? It's just having the latest version number with the look and feel but no actual features, I can easily achieve that with winterboard.. Fragmented indeed!
"The software is most likely unfinished, which explains the inconsistent scores."
By "software", they mean the firmware of the phone, not Android. So for those clowns that say the manufacturers don't tweak the phones prior to final release, you really should pay attention. The firmware may be optimized to give certain tests better scores in one instances and lesser scores in another. It's a trade off game, because when you tweak the firmware to excel in one test you usually lose performance in another area.

It has got almost everything now and there's no OS fragmentation in iOS. Future isn't about hardware it is about software. iOS gets apps faster than Android. iOS is an original OS. Even the outdated iPhone 4S can play any games whereas most outdated android phones can't.

It was almost 11200 in 3D score on Snapdragon 800 prototype at 1080p. So it turns Qualcomm was cheating with it.

Lag?? Lmfao note2 no lag never have never will
This has to be the most pointless update ever. This is just Samsung attempting to keep rivals from releasing faster phones so soon after the S4's release.
Smartphones have reached a plateau right now. Apart from a few features, Nokias, Samsungs, HTC's, Apples, and Sony's flagships do pretty much the same. They can't go much higher in resolution with displays, and there are no new innovations out there to make one stand out from the others.
I think that the smartphone industry will slow and become more stagnant over the next few years, as people will question why the big companies want you to upgrade to the next years flagship. I think people will be keeping their phones for a lot longer in the future.

Benchmarks aren't everything. Android phones will lag no matter how powerful the processor or GPU and it is because the OS isn't devloped properly or not well optimized. This is an OS fragmention which will kill Android soon.
