How Can I ever own an HTC again.
I had the ONE X and this was replaced 4 times with a new set in 7 months due to malfunction.
Nice design but nothing else. What a crap of phone. I bought this phone to help me in my daily life, not to hassle it. It you want to save money and time avoid HTC. Next time I eat apples.

in my opinion the 4 Mp camera killed the One. HTC should have gone with the tested and tried 13 mp like samsung.

one wonders how much Samsung and maybe the other competition must be pushing "forecasting" firms to ensure that HTC looks bad as a purchase option so that they can knock it off the competition list in what is becoming an extremely competitive market.

However HTC has to blame themselves for a lot of it, specially their pricing department. Making premium quality phones are good, but their image is not like Apple (it used to be strong some years back) and hence they need to price themselves aggressively specially in markets where phones are not given subsidized and people purchase them outright.

HTC's habit of delaying updates for older models also means people do no consider it well in the used phones market, which again impacts sales since current owners won't be able to sell their phones to get newer HTC products.

The latest Ultra pixel has proved to be not as effective. While the "Ultra" part has proven to be only useful under low light, here the Nokia implementation has shown that they can do even better with normal pixels and more more mega pixels. With such facts out not many are going to be sold out by the Ultra pixel story. Time HTC also released a normal camera with a great sensor and much improved photo quality (an area where they have been bad as was the case with the HTC One X/S range).

Have been having HTC One for since April 15th. in UK. Previously had HTC desire then Samsung Galaxy 2 and now ONE. I don't regret a single minute I have this phone. Very pleasant experience, beautiful design, buttery smooth UI. Now since JB 4.2 here came camera improvements!Battery wise 1-2 days on average use. Really glad about this phone.

I really really liked the One, best phone I've ever had. I've tried, PALM, iOS, WebOS, Blackberry and Android, so far extremelly happy. However and as some state above, service sucks, updates are reaaaaally slow (best case scenario, in many cases phone is no longer updated) and it's really complex to find the phone in all regions like LatinAmerica. All people that have seen the One would like to buy it, BUT, it is not available in my country... how can you sell, if nobody know you...

"it was turning its fortunes around with revenues rising from Mach (when the One launched) through May" i think GSMarena meant March and not Mach. Update this article and give me credit for poining out your mistake.

HTC should make HTC brand fridge, lcd, tv, washing machines etc just to psychologically remind people you exist. Samsung, LG, sony doing it. Can't rely on phones only. Motorola win the battery side.

Why put 2000mah unremovable battery? Just put a 3000plus mah, since its unremovable... Samsung battery is the poorest, does not last long, oem battery from razr maxx and put it in HTC one. That would be a great plus for HTC.

HTC one hardware is top notch. They optimized android OS on their phones much better than sangsung. they only lost in terms of Pricing & indirect advertisement, seen on Kpop :D. In my country you'll see 80% hp user carry sangsung (mostly Chinese user). Revise your pricing structure htc even your mini cost 450euro!!!
