And if you had ever used symbian, blacbery, palmos, you would not come with the concousion of samsung being stoled, neither, others you have mentioned. Dig a bit more into knowlege and innovation and you will find the real ones standing behind what we hold today. And those are not, samsung, apple, htc, micromax (what the hack is this anyway), lg, and other android crapp...

> In reply to Carol @ 2013-07-26 22:35 from L7eJ - click to readI am not talking about that devices, my freind! They are bicolor or have other negative points! I do not say that Samsung invented the SmartPhone, but with the SGH-Z610, they made what it is today! People claim that Apple have done that, with the iPhone, which ”revolutionalized” the world of phones! But they only stole others' ideas! The phones that you mentioned had an impact on the SmartPhones world but they did not introduced a concept! That was made by the iPhone which copied the ideas that they are recognizes for from the SGH-Z610: the screen size, design, circle button, icons grid etc.! That is what I want to say! Not that Samsung invented the SmartPhone! They only made it more easier and Apple stole that idea! Sony, Nokia etc. had their innovations also!

> In reply to iron-man @ 2013-07-26 22:27 from 7qx6 - click to readActually, that WAS a smartphone! Check! And also a media device (which is what iPhone also pretends to be)! What to talk about that circle button? Those icons were already used in other phones (with or without touchscreens, e.g. the Z610, Java phones etc.)!The bounce effect is stolen by Apple from the others. Now it is invalid! Here: http://www.androidpolice.com/2...invalidated/ It is on many sites! Pinch to zoom, as I have already said, is copied from DiamondPro table by Mitsubishi! Slide to unlock is copied from Neonode n1m! Those ideas were NOT NEW! They were stolen from the others, from tens and hundreads of sources! They did not innovate, they only get things from the others, put them in their products and sue everybody for stealing their ”ideas”!

Sony is not included because they haven't released their results yet for this quarter, once they do come back compare the numbers. Based on their track record in the recent past my guess is they would be placed 3rd.

Before Nokia fanboys fall into the illusion that Apple/Samsung are losing share due to Nokia-WP products... not at all. These are due to improve shares of other android brands - notably, LG and Lenovo. The article is clear about this.

Nokia and BB = "others"
