Guys who are complaining about the colors of the screen are absolute retards IMO. The 65k limit is not something that was imposed by SE or HTC (the company that manufactured the phone). Rather, 65K is the limit for WinMo devices. Check any WinMobile 6.1 based HTC phone (Diamond, Touch 3G, Touch Pro, Touch HD) or Samsung (Omnia etc.).. they all have an effective color gamut of 65k.

I Think That X1 is too late, Omnia Is Very Good To use .And Dont Think About the Memory And Qty Keyboard. Omnia Can Do a lot thing Than X1.

An excellent phone, slightly over-priced but yet not in the "expensive" zone, What else do you want from SE? Those who are complaining about screen resolution, have you used Touch Screen in any better resolution than 65k? 65k suits the best to Touch Screen mechanism. I am impressed by the style and features rich X1.

Pipl,
come on!Have you ever tryed a touchscreen device running on WM????For all those, complaining about the price, the phone, etc. just try it out!!!
Limitation is not a question anymore, copy, paste, send, read, create, all that..is so simple! Why don't you put away your PC's if you're so against Windows mobile!!!It's almoast the same thing!
I bet, that moast of you, spitting on this device, have cheap and outdated Nokia phones!

But in 1 yrs time we will see loads of new technology, but thats 1 yrs away, are we to keep waiting for the ultimate device?

I just hope they make this available to the rest of the world by the end of the year as the release has been delayed for far too long now.
I have always liked SE for the features put into their phones, particularly the smartphones. Let's just see if their decision to go to the WM (not exactly the most popular OS globally) will halt their skid. I am not a WM user and in fact have been a solid SE user (P900, P990 and P1i) but the intuitiveness and ground-breaking UI of the iPhone and the reliability and ease of use of the E90 of Nokia have enabled Nokia and the other companies move ahead of SE.
I guess most people put a premium on reliability, ease of use and one other deal breaker (either multimedia, design or whatever) in deciding which phone to buy. I just hope SE is able to strike this balance to get the most share but I am not too optimistic about this. The WM comes laden with disadvantages and I just don't see how SE will be able to solve all these and still manage to have a product close to what its competitors in this market segment have.

Omnia better than this crappy phone
65K COLOUR SCREEN can beat 256K colour screen, so smart
the pixels more also no use, 65K is 2004 year LCD colour,
256K is 2005 year colour
se evn a 16m colour screen also don't have
3.2mp so powerful? can defeat a 5mp which se 5mp also can't take a good picture plus video but take a lot of noise and purple o.o
