Very few of Androids all Office suits for Android is free.
If you want premium functions.
The reason why MS is launching Android and IOS Office suits is because Winphone have failed, totally.
As most computer MS Office user are professionals and they do not have WP8 phones, they got Android and/or IOS phones and tablets.
Also those half a dozen or more Office suit makers for Android is a terrible threat for MS Office in the future. Microsoft do not like competition on, because they allways loose, like in the Phone OS race...
killer droid 2.0, 01 Aug 2013Still leaving in denial i see!!!!Says the guy with the name "killer droid 2.0"
Office on WP8 and Windows RT tablets are free. On Android phones, you have to pay yearly subscription fee to use it. WP8 has consistent UI, free Office, Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, Skydrive integrations etc.. are great for corporate use. More and more corporations are switching to WP8 in the past couple of months. It's much easier for IT groups to manage an OS with consistent UI and very stable like WP8.

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2013Why on earth would you need a word editor when you can't even spell or write properly? Can offer a compromise, will not buy Microsoft Office for Android but keeping my fully functioning word processor on my phablet. OfficeSuite Pro FTW with Android.
Is it OK with you...
About me having a spreadsheet, can you live with that too?

Knock out move for Nokia. MS has taken the best part about WInodws phone to Andriod/ios and left behind a still rudimentary OS for Windows phones. Wonder why would someone buy a Winodws phone now
TransAtlant, 01 Aug 2013Nice! Microsoft can try to play catch-up in yet another field, like they does in the Mobil OS... moreWhy on earth would you need a word editor when you can't even spell or write properly?
Buy Tablets / iPads for MS office work??.. Totally not productive at all. Rather settle for a ultrabook or MBA.
I am just waiting for the next generation of haswell chipsets on surface pro 2, and next generation Win 8 on mobile phones - then we finally have a proper business platform and not a pretend platform as is Android and Apple for business. Finally!
