after so much hype such a disappointment moto.
AnonD-80553, 02 Aug 2013Why? They are quads, but have lower perfomance.
Just check the GLBenchmark 2.5 Egypt and 2.... moreGet a Nexus 4 instead then, same GPU performance with more CPU performance.
Motorola WTF!!!
16GB - $575 32GB or - $629 r u kidding me ? i will but HTC One or SONY xperia z in steal of this
better buy a xperia sp. too high price for a dual core phone.
AnonD-171691, 02 Aug 2013Too costly.I will go for a quad core phone like Galaxy S4 or HTC one instead of Moto X.Why? They are quads, but have lower perfomance.
Just check the GLBenchmark 2.5 Egypt and 2.7 T-rex. Same performance as the top ones at 1080p offscreen. ONly the competitors do run 1080p, this runs 720p so in real life performance this will run much better. And take better photos as well.
Main problem with this phone is availability.
epic fail!
AnonD-12453, 02 Aug 2013you were nitpicking. of course by made, they mean assembled. obviously motorola didn't made th... moreyes you are right but I don't think that the difference in cost of labour is about 300$ per single unit of a phone which has specifications of a high-mid range phone
Nowadays people are more patriotic towards their purses than their country. So if u think 'Made in USA' tag will make'em shell a couple of hundred bucks extra, u r kidding urself.
AnonD-68356, 02 Aug 2013pathetic pricing and now many peoples will say that its costly coz its made in USA.. u r wron... moreyou were nitpicking. of course by made, they mean assembled. obviously motorola didn't made their own parts. still the same, labor in usa and in china have a different pay.
Too costly.I will go for a quad core phone like Galaxy S4 or HTC one instead of Moto X.
AnonD-12453, 02 Aug 2013its made in usa. what a pity. but i wonder why no one has ever spoken about its availability, ... moreits just assembled in USA not made in USA -_-

pathetic pricing and now many peoples will say that its costly coz its made in USA..
u r wrong guys.. this phone is just assembled in USA not made in USA...
come to think of it, as price point perspective it is a little bit expensive for it, i'd say 400 to 450 should be reasonable for me (compared to iph*ne 5, it is as the same specs, dual core cpu and quad core gpu), but to see in other perspective, it is good news for android if Motorola as Google owned company can focus to make the user experience and maximize the software experience, so it's a good sign that Google might change their focus to maximizing the OS rather than just boost the hardware..
Way tooooooooooo expensive...
was gonna get this but no thanks not anymore
Simply too expensive...
Better get the Xperia SP.... was planning to get moto x....but why not get the Galaxy S4 or HTC One with that money. Feature n spec wise Moto X doesn't even come close to those. Motorola n Google just pulled off an Apple
And we thought only HTC does that kind of shit
