LG Vu III specs surface, 5.2-inch 4:3 display in tow - read the full textLG released its Optimus Vu II smartphone almost a year ago and now, the specifications of the next-generation Vu phablet have surfaced. The Vu gets, with it's 4:3 screen 12 square inch from the same 5" diagonal. Even compared to a 5" 'normal' phone, the Vu's screen looks (and is) big.

Above all, it's way more handy for about everything except watching video.

I started to give up hope and decided it can be screwed (reluctantly) with the launch of G2. Now, with specs leaking of Vu III, some claim of a pre-IFA launch, at 4 september (, I'm hoping LG's renewed focus with global launch will come with Vu III as much as it does for G2. Come on LG, give us Westerners some Vu Love.

I can't believe that the Vu II only has a 5" screen, it looks so much bigger. It must be an optical illusion because it's wider??? It doesn't look right to me:
They are odd looking squares things. Not a big fan : /

i have p985 too, the best phone for reading manga, comics or ebook. 4:3 and good pixel density.
i hope they update it to jellybean.
but i will but vu III if it has sdcard, no sdcard mean lesser the books you can carry around.
many people and reviewer hates 4:3 optimus vu has, but
if all you need is great device for reading, optimus vu is the king.
