Iphone camera sucks... very poor quality... just to take a few pictures with it.
the picture that i like more than the others is the one with the little dog...:)

wow how many of you people actually read this stuff before posting? Apple did NOT run this contest its by a third party, yes i have an iPhone and yes i like my iPhone, im not a fanboy, id tell you in a second all the faults i can pick with it and yes id love a G1 but they were not available when i needed a new phone and quite frankly android sounds alot under polsished, but you fanboy take the cake, a N95, better? hilarious. Win Mobile? and you wanna bitch about Apple products? what planet have you been living on?

And listen when you have a 2mpx photo that you shrink to vga quality gets better not worse... No excuses please... For mac people everything has excuses, grow up!

Im not sure who writes your articles and now quite frankly I don't care. Having been a reader of your site for 2 years, after reading your comments tonight on this article I have come to the conclusion that instead of offering 'unbiased' opinions about phones it is your intention to just train wreck any product that your 'reviewer' does not like. If you actually bothered to try the Iphone camera yourself instead of just following the flock of sheep that must do your reviews, you will notice that in decent light it is just as good if not better then some so called 'camera centric' phones. I give you the LG Viewty - not, as an example. If you do not like the iphone camera then fine, but don't lower your site to petty comments contained in the article such as 'it sucks'. Here was me thinking that this was a mature website with interesting reviews but of late it has just started to lower the standards to trashing products like many other sites. If you can't be objective or unbiased than I suggest that your site branches out in another direction. Given the amount of advertising on your site lately (note: since the alleged 'improvements') perhaps you no longer care about what you write or who reads it? Shame - because I have enjoyed your site but no longer feel it is of any real benefit to the serious phone buyer if this is the way forward for your articles. Oh - and by the way, no, I am not an iphone owner. Also I doubt that this comment will be published. Maybe I should have slagged off a phone or two? Thanks for listening.

That photo of the dog looks good but some of the others look like they show off how bad photos can be. It's not about resolution and megapixels, the fact that the iPhone camera is 2mp is not the problem. The iPhone camera is poor in other areas.

i always believe that is not what camera is used, its who is taking the pics, with skills, even a 2mpx is capable to take beautiful pics.

Great, another Steve Robs marketing scheme. Photo contest for a overpriced pos phone, like all other Apple hardware/software.
Best phone in the world?Lol. I mean double lol. Omnia/HTC Diamond/ HTC Touch HD/Touch Pro etc. beat the Iphone in almost every category. Hell, my aging Nokia E90 Communicator beats the Iphone spec-wise and functionality wise, the only thing it doesn`t have is a touchscreen. But at least i can use the GPS module with a real GPS software/ i can use Bluetooth/MMS/video recording etc. and i`m not limited too what Apple tells me to do, like itunes.
Rtrd 15 year old emo kids get Steve Robs, normal people get Win Mobile or Symbian or Android.

The guys at Apple are just so smart, even in their weaknesses... but to a point where they are starting to consider people a bit too stupid...
To throw a photo contest to try to compensate the fact that they have one of the worse cameras??? Brilliant, but hey, in my case: not dumb enough to swallow it, sorry... really not interested at all.
Apple, I am a costumer (I have a MacBook Pro, iPod). I will never stop hating you for not throwing at least a 3MP camera in your new iPhone...! You've lost a customer!
