Design is ok. Seems like a mix of t650 with w880 in a slider form. Bad news is that add nothing new to SE portfolio

Worst designed phone yet? I'd say so...
Design is OK for the G705, but it looks waaaaayy too conservative for the W-series. Walkman phones are meant to be fun and fresh, but this just looks plastic and ugly. The eyesore colour doesn't help either. This is probably, in my view, SE's worst designed phone so far.

The price of this device will determine its success. However, the similarity of this device to the G705 proves the point that there is now no real need for creating different product lines in SE's portfolio. SE's current CyberShot mobile devices do incorporate good music player interfaces and the Walkman players incorporate reasonable camera module. Designing and offering very high-quality all rounder devices would prove very successful for SE as opposed to attempting to demarcate them into being a music or a videophoto offering. The excellent K800i appears to have been SE's last all-rounder before it embarked on separating their product lines. Perhaps they may decide to return to that scenario.

240 x 320 is OLD, sony should make phones with 480 x 360 pixels.

once W sets had megabass and walkman player for speciality.
but now all latest SE phones have same kinds of feature.
and i'm sure g705 can be converted to w705.
so maybe days of WALKMAN are over.
