Sony Ericsson W705 now official - Wi-Fi confirmed, GPS not - read the full textJust as expected, today Sony Ericsson announced their new Walkman phone - the Sony Ericsson W705. The high-end slider is the first music-dedicated feature phone by the company to feature Wi-Fi. Unluckily the rumored GPS connectivity seems to have been dropped out but at least the rest of the specs...

i wanna know about messaging only the normal texts are being sent as text messages.but any animation added to it is gettin sent as mms message and its getting charged.is it like that.?cant we send any animations as text message?

Frndz i jst wana 2 knw in ma cell gmail & orkut nt open in full view. Meanz is there any software who help to operate full view of these sites. Plz do reply on ma mail id. Thanx

This Mobile rocks!!! i thought of getting this mobile by this week in Coimbatore can any one give me suggestions and price.

Ful time i will use the internet and video calls only so pls anyone can give a suggestion bcoz i love SONY ........ Else give some other models in sony ..........

i have the w705 for just over a month and i have to like charge my phone 24/7 if not by a single call the phone switches off
its a xcelent phone but the battery seems to be crapy

If you face an issue with the phone once you buy it, update the phone software and you will be all set. I had issues with speaker (where the recepient would hear some noise when I talk) and the Camera quality was not good initially. Good looking phone!

I have this model for 2weeks now...the problem is sometimes the phone will close by itself, and when I restart it, after a few moment, it will suddenly close again..this problems repeated for quite several times..the question is, is it batteries failure or phone failure??
