Nokia Bandit 6Prolific source of insider info @evleaks posted that the Nokia Bandit will bear the retail name Nokia Lumia 1520. The Bandit is one of several leaked codenames and is most likely the 6" 1080p Windows Phone phablet we saw on a few occasions before. Nokia Bandit = Lumia 1520— @evleaks (@evleaks)...

> In reply to nickname @ 2013-08-28 19:10 from 8xmd - click to readThe fact is that WP8 is going up, one of the top no-contract phones in Amazon is the Lumia 521-520, check it out if you like.

WP8 just already took over BB the second place in smartphones sales in Latin America.

It's not like WP8 will take over Android/iOS anytime soon... but is rising that's for sure.

Those who boast about the availability of millions apps in play store, after buying some andriod phone with octacore and 2-4 Gb ram go there and install whatever crap they find..... not even thinking about its requirement or necessity and end up with a lagging phone full of malware and bloatware and finally.... factory reset/root/custom rom. By that time a new lagdroid with 4k video, 64 core processor, ,refrigerator, washing machine, dish washer etc would have been announced by sammy. Fandroids can go and enjoy that.

1.yes, www.windowsphone.com/en-in/store/app/wptorrent/c8ba596f-95ca-4b64-bece-cce498d891d2 ,this has more features than official utorrent on android...
2.what?!?
3.are you kidding?
4.again,there are already many emulators, including but not limited to for gba(vba1),psone(emipsx),etc....and there are many in development...
4.LOL...you can try many paid apps on wp store for free for unlimited time(like demo version on pc),you can't do that on android so people like rely on piracy...
5.ofcourse it does, there is just not a phone with it yet, nokia has more important jobs...
6.LOL..it has wifi hotspot..and it is not a copied, actually nokia phones(s60v3 & v5) could use joikuspot app for hotspot functionality before android even existed,so according to your useless logic, google has copied from that app..
7.yes there are apps to download youtube videos, and you can get them from the wp store, unlike android where there is not a single app on playstore to download youtube videos, you can get them only from browsing and downloading from internet, like tubemate, where there is a huge chance of downloading malware to your phone....

I hope i have adequately answered your condescending question......

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2013-08-28 11:00 from 9x16 - click to readWindows 8 on Lumia 920 is far superior in performance and smoothness than both jelly bean with Samsung skin or pure android as run on my Samsung gs3. However, the best of all is iOS as it is the most intuitive and smoothests. At first I was impressed and ever envious of the tiles or widgets that the two former platforms offer but eventually I grew out of them. The number and quality of iOS apps is unparalleled. I simply do a lot more things on my iPhone. I particularly hate the crappy apps on offer on google store. It feels like battling your way through a forest of junks trying to find some gems. The over all experience of the android is well... dull. Half baked, too open to crap. I like windows 8 for its style but app wise is also dull. I have the feeling that windows will attract better quality of apps over time. The android fells like a flea market. The iOS/iPhone still the best in the market.

> In reply to Gelvin @ 2013-08-28 09:57 from sSPn - click to readJelly Bean is simply a name for the version of android. Butter is a buzz word for project to keep the system smooth running.

Non patentable use of more system requirements to get the system running at 60fps refresh rate if I remember correctly.

Certainly not unique or exclusive.
