Browser need little more speed
Thanks a lot my best site.
How do u prepare for a diabolical disaster and commercial failure?
Sell a Mid-range fone for $950 in places like West Africa.
BB10 is a retail failure in Nigeria and Africa.
Q10 is best device till date from BB, as others said, price is what killing them..if they lower their device prices, it will definitely sell much better than apple or any other android....BB, lower the price, that is the only option company have now
I have never used a bb in my life, always stick to Nokia and Samsung, the only reason it sells in South A.
I'm a happy I-phone 5, Nokia 920 & Samsung Galaxy Ace owner, in all honestly I have never found a bb appealing on looks and build quality. The reason for the down fall I do assume is their repetitive looks.
Two major problems facing Q10. Price especially when comparing hardware to similarly priced androids. And applications. Q10.should be priced towards mid range androids and Q5 low end. And get more apps then may sell well.
Just leave your traditional qwerty design, and go for full touchscreen devices.. Focus on your apps ecosystem.. And be competitive on your hardware specs! It's just like you are left with today's trend.
BB they need to reduce their price especially in Africa they will see, we will buy their phones because Q10 is nice phone. So reduce the price everything will be alright.
In my country the price is higher than S4, One or Xperia Z. Nokia E6 was almost half the price when it was still sold. Nice phone but, sorry BB.
In Romania the cheapest BlackBerry Q10 i found is priced at 530 euro....SAY WHAT?Cortex A9 proc(on the one w/o LTE),it's still laggy(just swype and see) only 8mp camera with poor low light performance and under average normal and let's not mention the endeless problems with the OS(messages not going out, contact numbers getting mixed with different names in the list),limited number off apps and the list could go on...And at the cost of over 500 euro's it does seem as a commercial failure if e check what else we can buy at the same price(samsung S4 and HTC One at the same price and Xperia Z even cheaper)
its not only the price, I have no Idea why BB don't speed up the availability of popular apps?
who want to use only BBM and Facebook only.
we need more.
I've had my q10 for 3 months now keybourd is great battery last ages, phone is very well made I paid 700 uk pounds simm free for mine and I don't regret it, but yes price should be a bit lower, but on the other hand I'm so glad I don't see 10 year olds with this phone as price is to high for kids, and now 4g was launched here in London on 29th august it's very fast so I don't really nead quad core
Zcoupe, 30 Aug 2013For some reason the Q10 is so much wanted here in Dubai that the prices are so high compared t... morePrice is AED 2,699.00 and I don't see why? What is so special with this phone that iPhones, HTC One and Samsung don't have. It is just the name that puts the price on a new branded devise in Middle East rather than the demand. This will sell more, if the price is down by 30% because that's the price it deserves. I always felt that the new Blackberry models always have been so expensive here in ME.
Dubai people are into BBM basically and they have a lot of money, so they don't care. I am also in Dubai and from what I see, top end phones from other brands with loads of better specs are priced below the Q10. In addition, top end Androids can be as good a business phone as any BB. I quite like the new BB OS, I have to admit, but the specs are much inferior for the high prices being charged. Many people are going for gimmicks, games and funky software, big bright screens and multi-core processors (though many probably don't feel the difference there). I bet if Q10 is slashed below Galaxy S4 and HTC One, many people will re-think their purchases. It IS a high quality product after all.
This post comes a day after I got my q10 lol. I upgraded from the 9900 and I am happy with it. There is still a demand for qwerty phones imo. Its one of the reasons I still use a bb, just can't do without it. Lot snappier (os 10). Using Note II and Pureview 808 as 2nd and 3rd devices :)
