> In reply to kirksland @ 2013-08-30 16:34 from kbhu - click to readOne other tablet to launch this month which is comparable to the new Archos 10 is Pipo Electronic's Pipo M9 Pro-- with its biggest advantage being price, which retails for $285 USD - the new Pipo M9 Pro offers a 10.1" 1900X1200 display that uses Samsung PLS technology, includes a Quad Core Rockchip 3188 processor with solid performance(2GB DDR3 / 16GB memory) and offers the advantage of built-in GPS navigation -- along with premium speakers, Dual Band WiFi (2.4 /5.0 GHz), offers Miracast and Chromecast compatibility, and provides users a choice of using standard Android O/S or a well laid out Windows style User Interface that makes the Android experience much more intuitive and easier to use. A 3G HSPA+ edition of the Pipo M9 Pro is also available for slightly more and works with any GSM Carrier, and a phone SIM card may be used interchangeably with both a phone and tablet...

In testing out the Pipo M9 Pro... with Rockchip 3188 quad core performance, it's more than enough for most tablet needs...and Netflix and Google Apps and services perform well... one measurement of gaming performance is Riptide GP2 and it offers solid play with no lag... overall, the Pipo M9 Pro is hard to beat in terms of price and features offered and the overall build-quality and design.

One of the first sites to feature the new Pipo Pro 9 is T ab l e t S p r i n t which also offers several other new Android tablet models released this month, including the new 7-inch - Novo 7 EOS - 3G HSPA+ tablet which features an HD screen, Bluetooth and GPS; and which works with AT&T and T-Mobile with both Internet and phone calling capability... and with a price of $189, it makes for one of the first affordable 3G HSPA+ tablets available...

These all look pretty formidable, will have to see how they actually look and how the reviews pan out. Good start though.

mmm i still want a phone with 4GB ram, my current has 2GB, i help my friends who work on designing stuff and when you make too much google image search u realize you really need more ram, this also happens on their phones, also with 2GB ram, we all have different droids, and 2 iphones, but is actually the same in all, i must say that even computers with 16GB ram can hang when you been making image research for 5 hours, but we cant carry such a computer with us everywhere while we take pictures, so yeah, some of use really need more ram, processor and internal storage would be nice too, but just 2GB ram is not fit for today's uses.

and i'm happy to hear this! hopefully the local archos dealer will sell these phones!

Archos has been unleashing some well equipped tablets lately. If not for the mediocre battery life those would be an instant success.
