Am I the only one that is a little disappointed with the phones coming out. Only one has a xenon flash as far as I can see, the 8MP shooter is still many many months away.

Just discovered the 5800xm which I was going to get is not the hailed 279 euros afterall. My contract is nearly up with the Nokia N82. I love the phone but I am bored and I think it'll be the first time in three years I may switch manufacturer. The samsungs, whilst not offering much different to Nokia, certainly look the part, with higher quality materials.

Jokes apart lets not teach Samsung and Lg about market trends. Specially if you are from Nokia stable. Though it's true that Nokia had a great contribution in setting standards and many features but it's also a fact that they are the laziest one to go with the market trend. It took them a good 2 years to realize that no one wants bulky phone, just to give you a simple example of their arrogance.

the fact that samsung and lg are releasing 8mp and 12mp juat means that they don't know market trends and only listens to the needs of a few geeks who want super high tech phones

I dont know much about cell phones or the people who own them.
But, I do know that Canon, Sony, etc are selling many 5-10MP cameras.
And, I'm pretty sure folks quickly realize that regardless of MP or AF or whatever, any camera on cell phone is just a tacked on feature...

Bottom line - when shopping for cell, I hope you're not judging it by # of MP.

> In reply to Kal @ 2008-11-12 14:06 from vwdn - click to readDude, do you honestly think nokia intended for this list to leak? Anyway, accorming to the list most of the phones are already complete and all that is left is their announcement. So even if competitors start planning something slightky better, nokia is obviously already prepping up something better.
I dont really care about vga or wvga screens. The oled QVGA screen of the n85 put almost all phones to shame, even those with vga screens.
Megapixel count doesnt really matter (its overhyped), but lens and processing is what people ignore and should be concerned about.

N96 is terrible with software issues. I just sold it back. So, all these phs???? I will see how reliable they are.
