> In reply to Marty H @ 2013-09-12 10:48 from PZU0 - click to readwe do not think "WP is stuck at 2 cores" but rather "Android needs so many cores to run properly".

WP already runs well at single core / 512 ram. period.

If 8.1 does not have the option for typing in T9, they can count me out as a potential customer.

The Capture frame rate is set to low and has nothing to do with the phones real frame rate.

TouchWhiz is build on 4.1 jellybean, which is described in reviews as "buttery smooth".
Any talk of lag is incorrect and was fied with Google
by using triple buffering and forced 60Hz screen speed

Fix your dialing service code *???#..... & enable text warp in ie explorer.... Microsoft.... Don't be stingy.... If not many consumer will jump from your wp to android, no resell value. Fix it..... No point giving 8.1 updates Without these fix for prepaid users & for people who surf the web on wphones...

Epic fail that it uses cpu cores for scrolling down (it was meant to use gpu not cpu) . An example of poor optomization . If u dont believe mywords see the comment section of the video . And ur second video shows how angry birds works fine with a single core , not octa core . Its true in real life too .

> In reply to kurotsuki @ 2013-09-12 10:56 from KLR9 - click to readThank you for making my point for me. If you've already got the live tiles with the notifications like it shows the 2 notifications and then the tile showing the 1 Skype and 1 Outlook then what's the benefit of having a tile with a number? You still need to look around the screen for the individual notifications. If I have categories at least I know what specific tile I need to go to. Either way, doesn't make much sense unless you can go straight to the app from the notification center tile.
