Why should Nokia come with Android in order to be excellent in all aspects? Everything can be solved by just a few WP modifications. MS needs just to bring a proper file manager with capability to preset default apps for opening each file format, a proper fully customizable notification center, a desktop homescreen option, a controllable multitasking with task manager, and endless shortcutting capabilities.

Still don't believe this is a official press image.
Take a look on the Nokia website and not once do they have a lumia device pictured horizontally showing the live tiles like that. Any horizontal pictures of the phones have photos or apps open on them.
Just a thought.

I'd definitely get this IF the windows 8.1 update offers sufficient functionality and user control to get anywhere near the flexibility and openness of Android. Windows for Mobile technology is coming along at a pace that seems poised to outstrip anything Apple or Blackberry can offer, let's hope the software keeps pace; I sold my Nokia 820 and bought a Huawei Ascend Mate mainly due to the Nokia's small size and relatively crippled OS.

Another Windows suck OS again? It is better for Nokia to choose Android or MeeGo, instead of that Uuuggglllyyyy tiles.

You are so naive....You don't even realize that you are comparing your own preference of material to quality....which the material and design is not even that amazing...Oooo aaaa a glass brick. Many phones look way better. The Galaxy series included. Look way better from the front view while the Z line looks better from the back...What an accomplishment.

Glass all around is the best build quality???? Yay phone cracks and shatters.....
