the killer phone would have the option to have it with Android or with WP (after factory reset).
If nokia will change the os, definitely i will buy nokia phone.. android + nokia is superb... i will wait for the innovation
NOKIA WITH ANDROID!!!!!
They will make a great pair. 100 % success guarantee
MR.MAK, 15 Sep 2013To be honest i love Nokia lumia mobile's design very much... if Nokia comes up with high End h... morei totally agree with you man.nokia always had great hardwares but always choose stupid os and killed meego which wasnt that good but great potential. fools never get success even if they are very talented.
if nokia had chosen android for all lumia models and make android run smoother than samsung devices , nokia could be now the 1st choice of everyone.
NOKIA having an Android OS is not bad, i guess..
if nokia could develop and launch some android models, in my opinion, they will sell a lot of it just like the other competitive companies of mobile phones .. it will be competitive too..because, the qualities in their hardwares are there too..
but, i would suggest, Nokia musn't exchange WP8 to Android for these are different from each other.. in short, NOKIA, if possible, could have both in their Smartphones..
WP8 is for PROFESSIONALS.
MS OFFICES are also valuable for individual especially for students, and other professionals..
and ANDROID ifor those who love android apps like social medias, and these games that were not really prioritized by WP8..
i love lumia and i also love android.thats why, i have a samsung galaxy and a nokia lumia..
There isn't enough app in windows that may cause lag, so what's the point? I am using android for a long time. I found it quite fluid.
No worries, that's what Newkia will do. And since you seem to refuse to report on them, let's see if you go as far as removing this comment too...
So the rumors about Nokia Androids are true. Very interesting.
I wonder, may after 2015, Nokia might have either developed a new standalone OS or maybe look into that Google Android Project. :D
How beautiful could an android device look under Nokia. What is possible then. Even this pic alone is so stylish. I can understand some of the WP but why not give your customers the choice of both. Its a win win. Our business would go back to Nokia in a flash.
aish, 15 Sep 2013maybe that wasnt lumia, that was n9 i guess..whatever, its too late now... lets see what happens
Anonymous, 16 Sep 2013Late in using capacitive is wrong, late would be if they came 8 to 10 months after, but Nokia ... moreIt is still annoying to think of, they already had the N900 mainboard and everything, very capable stuff for its time, a few small changes and some software modifications in Maemo5, now add a capacitive display and they would have had the best phone at the time. They knew fans were asking for it but stubborn old guys in suits at Nokia wanted people to believe that resistive was good enough for us. Well, it wasnt all bad but it wasnt what people wanted, and that is what really matters, and people also wanted multitouch, which was impossible on resistive screens.
What a suicidal company, the buyers demands were already on the table very early on but got ignored.
kyle griffiths, 16 Sep 2013i seriously dont see why Nokia had to go pure Windows Phone, HTC produces both quality android... moreHTC were forced to make and market WP8 phones, it was part of the licensing agreement on the Microsoft patents Android violates. Same with Samsung, they also made a deal with Microsoft to achieve lower licensing fees on every sold Android device. Samsung would probably have made WP devices even if not forced to, HTC i am not so sure, but who knows, they did have a significant history with Windows mobile OS.
Fenoy, 15 Sep 2013Definitely.Nokia has always been late in bringing latest features into mobiles especially in h... moreLate in using capacitive is wrong, late would be if they came 8 to 10 months after, but Nokia chose to wait many years, it was catastrophic.
In early 2010 we were waiting for a slimmer capacitive Nokia N900 without qwerty, it would have sold so well, they had the best OS and chose to not make the phone fans were begging for, instead they came much later with a low res weird phone known as the N8, yes it was capacitive but with catastrophically inferior CPU power and resolution than competition, only about HALF of the N900 processing power AND lower resolution than N900. So out of touch with reality since... Long time ago.
No, that company couldnt compete in the Android realm, by going with WP they had a good excuse to continue to be technologically behind others. And now they are dead, good.
